What a crock! Pinks All Out really stuck it to the "little guys" who brought their street racers from all over for the chance to be on TV. I'm a little guy with a $7K car that ran in the 10.70s and in reality had no chance to get on TV. Somebody take a WAG at what Paul Smith Jr. has in his car. The several hundred other so-called "little guys" were only needed to pay for the production of Pinks show.
They need better rule definitions for the next one.

look first off if u read the disclaimer is said "this is a tv show not a drag race" it was all about filling the seats for the show. IT WAS A TV SHOW ABOUT RACING NOT RACING ON A TV SHOW. second me and my father have payed for every part on that car, and been racing since '99. it is an expensive hobby, and we are the little guy. we have hauled that car all over the east coast on an open trailer behind a 98 durango. no big rig, no race team. yes to get in the 16 it was a pot shot u had to be in the time THEY picked 10.33-10.35 so u running 10.70's, if u ran 10.34 u would have probably been picked. remember the shows not about how cheap you can build a car that goes fast its can u build a car that runs the #'s they want. don't be salty.....
O p.s. its a LS2 427 N/A MTI "240" heads, auto trans, 4.10 rearend, no headlights, lightweight front break kit, 4500 stall conv. 486.7 HP & 590.3 TQ at the wheels. will run 10.20-10.30 all day :)....no Wild A$$ Guess

I had the opportunity to meet Paul Jr. and Sr. at the Pacesetter Corvette Club's Car show to benefit Breast Cancer Awareness and though Paul Jr was busy greeting other fans, however I spent quite some time speaking with his father. Sr. spent a considerable amount of time talking to me, answering my questions about the car and giving me his opinion on ideas I had for my vette. I inquired as to sponsorship offer since the win and was quickly informed that they were not interested in "selling out" for a buck. The car had been a joint project for he and his son and they wanted to keep it just the two of them. I found both men to be engaging and approachable. No egos in sight. To me it was a well deserved win.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Aries

The prospect of travel really appeals to you today, especially if you don't have any holidays booked for the foreseeable future. So be careful if you're out shopping and you happen to walk past a travel agent's, because almost before you know it you could be sitting in there waving your credit card around and consulting your diary for the best day to take off for the wide blue yonder.
