Two Medflights for Londonderry April 15th - Londonderry NH net

At about half past noon a couple impacted a telephone pole at the intersection of Gillcrest and Sugarplum. They were taken by Derry Ambulance to Parkland where Medflight was awaiting on the Parkland Landing Pad. Google Map of 2:15pm crash of Auto and Motorcycle near the Lukoil in Londonderry, NHAt about 2:15pm a motorcycle and auto impacted near the Lukoil Gas Station near the Crossroads Mall. The driver of the Motorcycle was transported by Medflight to Beth Israel Hospital at about 3pm.

I was detoured by this event and I too am a 51 yr old bike rider. I can only hope that if my turn comes that I am able to some how take them with me. It is an accepted level of threat that we deal with knowing that a drivers license's is something that is a given, or really not even needed if one is determined to drive, or drunk for the um-teen'th time, or so old they dont care anymore.
Now about the cell phone and texting laws. I see it many times EVERY day.Daydreaming,looking into their laps to text, weaving while they flap their gums. Strange thing , my operator's license is for a motorcycle or passenger vehicle. Nowhere does it allow for things that distract from the requirement to keep both hands on the wheel!

"Take them with you" The driver of the volvo was not drunk, was not charged with any violation up till this point, now two weeks later. It would have been more responsible to ask the question, "Why did this happen."
