Isn't Madison Plains where they had all the problems? Better check this out. And a charter school? Better check that out too. Who was in the wrong here, the board or the treasurer? Is the board getting rid of a good man, or a good ole boy? And if he was a good ole boy, then why was he hired in the first place? These questions need to be answered.

I'd like to know what happened to all moneys in the sports accounts. As a parent of 2 student athletes in the London school district, we've been told all moneys have "Disappeared". As in $0 in all accounts - football, track, etc, etc. Was it stolen? Was it used for operational purposes? What?

isn't it great when a school board prez refuses to disclose how tax payer dollars are being used?

And one more thing - Now, I'm not involved in school issues, or politics, or anything like that, but doesn't the sports money come from ticket sales, concessions, fund raisers, etc??? If that was taken for operational purposes (or heaven forbid, stolen) shouldn't someone get into TROUBLE - not just lose their job??? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but if this wasn't tax money, it should be replaced. Kids work for that money. And if it was stolen, someone needs to go to jail. Period. Quit being so secretive.

This is the worst school district that I have ever seen; I have lived in London for 21 years and would never have my child go to London City Schools; the kids do not get a decent education and when you have a school board that does not know how to manage their money but can pay their treasurer 90,000 a year this is ridiculous!! The only reason I still live in this district is due to my stepchildren who still go to school in the district; if so I would not at all. I would really like to know why we have to continue to have a school tax taken out of our paychecks to pay for this crap. They need start over with a new board from Columbus and get rid of the ones we have now; as they do not know how to manage the money.
In closing why are we having a new middle school built if we are in such dire straits with money??

for someone living in the district for 21 years, perhaps you should already know that the new middle school is being paid for out of tobacco settlement funds, not one dime is being spent from the school funds.

I think you should reconsider the comment about the students not getting a decent education. Like most school districts a large portion of the accountability in regards to what a child receives from their school can be directly reflected from what they receive from home. Careful, someone might break one of those windows in that glass house of yours.

London teachers are lazy. They want to stay on the computer all day complaining to parents about the child. Then, when a parent shows up at school to discuss the problem, the teacher drops the students grade from an A to a C-. The teacher gets caught in the wrong by the parent and the principal and almost cries. You know who you are Mr.----. Next year you still don't have a job. You got cut and took it out on the kids. You were a bully to the kids. You need to work somewhere else anyway. Teaching is not for you.

and who will pay for the operation of the school? The state built it but we have to pay to maintain and run it. I'm tired paying all the school taxes especially when the teachers don't teach. We rated poorly in my book. We need teachers like Johnathan Alder. They teach the kids.

Since almost five years have gone by now, has anyone discovered the truth?
