Are they going to make a decision this week? Who is it going to be? They have already taken forever which makes everyone in charge there look like DAs and makes the job look even more unappealing than it already is. North is just laughing at how far south has fallen and will continue their decline until someone with some balls and sense will make a decision that's best for the school and student athletes and quit trying to make mommy and daddy happy and stop listening to the politics that has cause the decline of the mighty cards.

They interviewed another candidate yesterday, but have also asked around the teachers that might be willing to do it for the year if this interview don't work out.

Good grief. How embarrassing. No wonder some of the younger kids are heading to Corbin. What a combination-the clueless superintendent, Principal, and the AD. Why dont they go ahead and ask the librarian to coach. Absolutely zero leadership. Pathetic!

A fact. A middle school coach told me yesterday he had been asked two times to take the job. They sure are desperate!

AD doesn't have much say so. The site base council, weather they know anything about hiring a coach or not, is who makes the decision. The whole process has been an embarrasing joke!!

South Laurel, made a good hire today for their new basketball coach. He's a high energy coach with a great work ethic. Jeff Davis, from Simon Kenton, where he was an assistant Coach for 7 years. Welcome to London, Ky Coach Davis!!

South Laurel made a great hire in Jeff Davis. Jeff has a tremendous work ethic and great knowledge of the game! Amazing that South was able to get a guy like Jeff Davis this late in the process.

It's a fact. Great coach. Saw a lot of his JV teams in Northern Kentucky when I lived there. Was on Macey's staff at Morehead. Coached Shining Stars AAU and Derek Smith the last few years while the top assistant at Kenton. Singlehandedly recruited a really strong AAU team and then kept them together when he switched to Stars. Included the Able kid that went to Indiana. They'll be aggressive and fun to watch. Loves to press. Rumor up there is he has had several opportunities the last few years but he has been very picky. Kenton job was his in waiting and he wasn't going to leave for anything less than that. Great great hire.

He is a great hire especially at this point. I think he was a finalist for the Montgomery job as well. The ironic thing though is he is very firery and arrogant coach. The things that many didn't like in coach wright is the things that make this guy good as well. He will do a good job!!! I hope everyone just shuts up and let's him coach!

From everyone Ive talked to that knows a lot of the Northern Ky teams and people, he is a absolute steal. Every person said that he would vastly exceed expectations with mediocre teams, and be a state contender when he has good talent. I have no clue, but these people know whats going on in northern Ky, so I'll take their word for it.

CoachDavis, will do good with this South, team their a little better than Mediocre team. Sooth not loaded the a lot of talent but their a hard working group of kids. Watched them give Scott Co. all they wanted this summer at the KBA.

Excited about the new coach and fresh start!

Coach Wright, was arrogant jerk and just ran off at the mouth at players and refs. It's not ironic that South's excited about having a firery coach Davis. I understand he's a very on hands coach during practice teaching the game to his players. So he want be texting during practice and not teaching. Coach Wright texted every day day in practice and never coached except to threaten a player or be little him. I just hope he's not screeaming and throwing water bottles on the floor. Then leaving his team playing the game and go to the locker room to pout the rest of the game until half time. I promise you no one will miss his time out screaming at players and refs. Then looking up in the stands to see who's looking.
I dont think South, has any thing to worry about Coach Davis, being anything like what they hated about coach wright. South is ready for a firery coach Davis that knows how to teach the GAME!!!
I hear he's a motivating firery coach and players loves playing for him.

No, they said this guy could really develop kids and coach. That is nothing like Wright. But love the jealousy. If not for the real "Roscoe", Wright would not have won anything.
