I have several bad teeth, all my molers need pulling and I have several other teeth that need filling and pulling. I just didn't take care of them as a youth, drink to much pop, eat to much sugar,to poor to fix cavaties. Any ideas? I'm curious if bad teeth would disqualify you from a cdl?

Only if your mouth looks like an ashtray. I mean if you open your mouth and your teeth look like a pile of rocks then the military will have to pay alot to get them fixed. Not to mention the health risks, and tooth aches that can affect your concentration and rest. But a cdl, im not too sure about because I have seen alot of truckers with summer teeth ( summer this way summer that way)
In fact most of them that I have seen look like.. 1,2 skip a few 3,4 there aint no more. So you might be ok there. You might want to google military standards and commercial fleet hygiene/health requirements... but for now If I were you I would just brush my tooth and go to bed.

your teeth would have to be in REALLY BAD Shape to disqualify you from military service. I would suggest that if you cannot afford local dental care and want to have some of your teeth fixed you go to the University of Kentucky Dental School. They can check you out and several of the Dentist there served in the military and let you know where you stand.
I know the military does provide excellent Dental care. If you just need some fillings and wisdom teeth pulled. that is not a big deal from joining. You have to have REALLY messed up teeth for it to disqualify you.

According how bad the military needs people. Also try difference branches of service, Af and navy usually get all they want. During Nam they could care less but prolly more strict now.

I'm in the military, it would have to be extremely horrible to not get accepted. You need to look up military dress and appearance look up the UCMJ. Medical coverage will fix your teeth though.

You must be in the national guard because dress and appearance and the uniform code of military justice have nothing to do with teeth. Depending on how bad your teeth are. The navy is strict the army is lax. For the army you must have a hs diploma or a GED with 15 college credit hours and have no possession charges and no serious criminal offenses

No matter how good your teeth, education level and grades in school, etc. are, you are going to have a hard time getting into the military. The "sequestration" read "cut spending so the billionaires can get a tax cut" is forcing the Army to cut 80,000 soldiers in the next five years. The Army will drop from 45 combat brigades to 33, its total troop strength to 490,000.

Good Luck getting in period. It's just like Next door to Campbell said, it's going to be very hard to join when they are cutting back. You might get in on a job in a specialty they are really low on unless they cross train what they have.

Army Regulation 40-501, Army Medical Standards, is downloadable and has your answers for procurement standards. The recruiter probably won't know and he can't disqualify you medically- the MEPs physician would have to take a look.

Go ask a recruiter, don't look for answers on this site.
