It is the poor who habitually elect Democrats .... yet they are still POOR.

"You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.

You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.

You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.

You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.

You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.

You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.

You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves."

It's called "gotcha". When Democrats are elected, Republicans retaliate and the way they retaliate is by holding jobs hostage. When one of them get elected, if they give a couple of jobs, it makes them look better after they've strangled the Democratic regime. Look at the nation today. We have a Democrat President, however, Republicans have had their biggest taxcut in history since 2001 and haven't done a darn thing with it. Under Obama, they've played games the entire time. Just look at his Congress of "no". If Obama wants it, it's "No" and with Congress's new proposal to cut the deficit, there's not a darn thing in it that would increase taxes on the wealthy who are precisely the ones that have controlled jobs since 2001 and gave nothing back from it. Look at the one who will be running against Obama. He loves this country so much that he parked all his money in offshore bank accounts to avoid helping our country through paying taxes. He paid a tax rate of 14.99% on his $21M of annual income while a single person with no dependents earning $50,000/yr. pays that and more.

The Republicans, while outsourcing our jobs and keeping their money in offshore bank accounts have spent more time these past few years trying their best to drive down wages in this country so we can equal China labor. Which means if you'll work for only your grocery money, you might just be lucky enough for them to honor you with a job.

Democrats are for the right. Republicans do the wrong things so that Democrats can't do the right.

What is a Black Thugs ? How can you say it would be nice to see someone shot ?Are u relation to Zimmerman who shot the child walking down the street or perhaps relation to the crazy soldier who killed the little kids while they lay sleeping ?
Life is precious can you even imagine what it would be like to loose a child what a mother or father would feel knowing there child is gone forever and will only live in there memories .
How can any human like you sit and say such things to this person that they should be shot .

It's funny that people are indoctrinated with political propaganda to the point of squabbling over minute policy details. There is no benevolent party, they both have the same ultimate goal. Until we realize that nothing will change, not long term anyway. It's almost shocking that anyone with a conscience could defend either one.

Did some research on the 10 poorest States in America. According to the 2010 census they are:
10)North Carolina
9) Alabama
8) Kentucky
7) South Carolina
6) Montana
5) Louisiana
4) West Virginia
3) Tennessee
2) Arkansas
1) Mississippi

5 States have Republican Governors
5 State have Democratic Governors

Of the 20 Senators representing these States, 13 are Republican, 7 are Democrat.

In the last Presidential election, all but North Carolina voted for the Republican nominee.

Seven of the ten States are "Right to Work" States.

"We may be poor, but we ain't gonna let them kwars git murried."

"We don't need no unions here, Wal-Mart treats us real good!"

"Them Bush's sure could run an economy!"

Social mobility in this country is pathetic. A Republican becomes president and the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. A Democrat becomes president and the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. How can people not see the pattern here? Educate yourself- become a Libertarian. Gary Johnson for president.
