Which doctors would you be talking about there. Ive always went there since i had my first child almost 8 years ago, ive had 3 kids now and have seen Dr. Mechas will all of them and he always has been the best. He was always concerned with how things were going with me and the babies. I have not one complaint with him what so ever and would recommend him to anyone. If you havent had a visit with him maybe you should consider him for you next appointment. Im almost positive he wont let you down. He has always been so gentle and caring with me in every visit

I will make this short and to the point. I began going there when I was 10 weeks along in my pregnancy. They ran a few routine tests and I went on my way. Now please keep in mind that I am a well rounded individual and believe it or not have never even smoked a cigarette in my life. I received a phone call at 7:30 p.m. from that office telling me it was urgent that I come in first thing in the morning. When I got there they would not allow me around the other pregnant women. They put me in a room by myself. I over herd people in the halls talking about me. Two people entered my room and began telling me that I had contracted the Rubella (MMR) virus. They began explaining that it was going to cause birth defects to my child. They then proceeded to push abortion papers in front of me. I was hysterical, my entire life flashed before my eyes, I was in utter disbelief. How could this happen to me, I always took care of myself and took my vitamins and ate properly. The next few days seemed like an eternity. Research upon research was done, the information I found was unbearable. Loss of hearing, sight and motor skills. Deformity. My husband and I had been married for one year and were so excited to start a family. We were devastated and didn't know who to turn to for help. Days later we got a second opinion from some doctors in Corbin. After simply looking over my history, I was told that because I was in sports throughout school, I was given too many MMR vaccines and was just highly protected against the virus. There was nothing wrong with my baby, he was as healthy as could be. So here we were, two weeks of our lives had flashed before us. We were in agony but knew we would love this baby no matter what. Thoughts of all sorts poured through our minds, many suggestions but no answers. Our little guy is now a over a year old and as healthy and beautiful and fun loving as can be. But sometimes I ask myself, what if I wouldn't have gotten a second opinion? What if I would have taken their (abortion) advice? I would not have my beautiful son today. Maybe some of you have had a pleasant experience with this facility, but I have not. I hope some of you use your own judgment like I did, and know that the doctor's are not always right. To this day, I feel as though a part of me is left at that office, fighting for other women who are being given inaccurate information. I look at my son and feel so much hatred and resentment toward them, because I know they could have easily taken him away from me. My son, my life. I hope that people who read my story do not bash me for the way I feel, but can understand and know a mothers love and will to fight for her family. So please to anyone who reads my story, know my heartfelt agony. Share your story, and fight for what we all know is right!

How nice your experience turned out well. Grateful NO!! Why hold this resentment? Why start a topix asking what others thought when in all actuality you wanted to tell your story. Mistakes are made everyday. Evidently your mother made some by letting you receive so many MMR vaccines. Anyone with that diagnosis should get a second opinion. There are some horror stories from Corbin too. Patients hold some responsibility also, and with the new medical system more will be required of patients. Let go of your anger, it doesn't look good on you.

She never started the story, BUT I am so glad that she shared her experience with others so they may be aware to be more careful about diagnosis from there.

Praise God she was given the wisdom to seek another opinion or she may have aborted her precious child. Thank you God for your direction to this family!

i know a young lady that was told that her 10 week old fetus had no heartbeat, was pushed to have a d&c, the Dr there left most of the baby in her womb and the lady was in the hospital 2 times with pelvic infections and had to have an additional operations to fix what the drs at London Womens Care caused. i wouldn't even bring my dog there to have her puppies

you need to realize that this lady looks at her child and is greatful that he is alive, but what she is saying is that if she listened to the medical advice she was given, the child would not be here today. we go to dr's for proper care and professional advice, not wrong advice and poor care. that's what she is trying to get across, you would be angry too if it happened to you, be honest to yourself

London Women's Center. I would not let them treat my dog. How many doctor's practice there now? How many are actually board certified????? What is their c-section percentage? Not a great place if you ask me. Go to Corbin or Somerset. And the woman who posted the story of what they did to her, good for you! We need to share these mistakes. Just because this is the only women's care center in London doesn't mean we should settle for them.

You hit the nail on the the head, sister or brother. why should we settle for London womens Care just because its our only option. We, as educated women should have a CHOICE and be able to CHOOSE who delivers our precious babies. how many women do those so called Drs up there need to damage?

i started seeing dr. moghe in 2005. since then i have had a daughter which was delivered by her and she always treated me right. i have heard alot about the place and some of the doctors but that the case any where you go.i still go to dr. moghe. she has always seemed concerned.to me she is a good doctor. now on the other hand dr. barton, thats one i would not let touch a dead dog. he has no compassion for his patients. my aunt went to him when she was pregnant & she was having a some problems,he showed her no sympathy or compassion,it was like he didn't care what happened to her or the baby. she changed doctors,to dr. briere, her and the baby turned out fine. so like i said some doctors she have never been allowed in med school but some actually are good doctors. every place has good ones and bad ones....to mommytoabeautifulboy, i'm glad everything turned out okay with you and your child.glad he's healthy.

Oh, How different we all see things. To each his own. My daughter's baby was delivered by Dr.Barton and we firmly believe our outcome of a healthy happy baby boy would not have been the same had we had anyone else. I can tell you without hesitation he is compassionate, sympathetic, and very caring Doctor who cares always for his patients. She saw Dr. Briere during pregnancy as primary liked him but will always be grateful to Dr.Barton. At times she saw Dr. Moghe never cared for her bedside manner. I have Dr. Briere who at times during different procedures has hurt me painfully, that doesn't make him a bad Doctor, the very procedures are painful. I know I'm a nurse. You should understand that they all have patients who don't do what they are suppose to, follow bad health habits and such I imagine they all can be firm when they have to.

You do realize that four out of the five doctors who practice there did not go to medical school in this country. At least two of the doctors (Moghe and the other female dr) are not board certified.....that should tell us something......

You have every right in the world to see whomever you want to. Just like every other woman. Some of the most prestigious schools in the world are not in this country. Remember America's shame is the fact that we have an infant mortality rate far higher than many other countries and Kentucky is low on the list of quality care for our children.
