I know Aisin is holding on for now. What is new? I heard they were going to do more lay-offs and that people were going to get a pay cut?

I really hope they stay for awhile. There are a lot of people who work there. It would be tragic if they closed.

My husband works there and they are trying to pay people to quit. Giving them 6 weeks pay and insurance to find another job. They are giving people the option right now but if they don't get enough volunteers, they are going to choose themselves who leaves. SAD SAD SAD
But it's not AISIN'S fault, look at the automotive industry... this is why! No vehicles being sold means no need for parts to make them.
So sad but true.

George Bush and his fat cat crook friends on Wall Street are responsible for the economic mess that we are in. If you voted for Bush you share some of the blame !!

Its not Bushs fault it
is Congress fault Democrats out for thereselves
Congress has been majority Dem. since Bush.when
Klinton was in was Maj Rep thats why economy was
better then. And anyways even Obama was pushing
first bail out Congress handed out the money to
there buddies and didn't put restrictions on the
money it is Congresses fault we are in awful shape.

But now, Free trade is on the top of the republicans list. Now what. It isn't the middle class workers who want their auto industries shipped overseas.

I work for Aisin and am probably one who is going
to lose my job ,but by giving this new bale out
money to car or any organization is going to hurt
the little people and middle people we are the
ones that are going to lose everything and we
still have to pay all this money back.. You people
need to open your eyes Replublicians ain't got no
say they are out voted in Congress so what ever
is passed has nothing to do with Replublicians it
is all Democrats who has say so Obama before he
was elected said he would have this straightened up in a year (which was a promise he has no control over due to Congress making all decisions)
other day he was on tv saying it will taked over
10 years and it is going to get worse. So why
through money down the drain with bail out. People
needs to be learning how to live off the land like
the old days. This country is going to be ruled by
one side of politics just like SUDAM HUSANE ran
is country . I bet he is laughing at America

What rock have you been living under. George Bush had a Repubilcan Congress (bothe the House and the Senate) to work with for 6 of his 8 years in office. That means we are NOW reaping the benefits of the republican agenda. As for the bank bailout that was Bush's policy...give the banks $750 billion with no strings attached, which some promptly used for bonuses and and corporate junkets.
If you voted republican you are getting what you deserve !!

thats not true Bush had Democrat
Congress just because Bush is Republican does not
mean Congress is Republican and Obama was also
pushing the $750 billion and Congress (dem)and Obama was part of Congress at the time majority gave out that money with no restrictions
you need to study up on how government works my
friend. And part of that money went to companies
Obama has ties with and they took vacation on it

Well, you are WRONG. From 1995 to 2007 the republicans controlled both the House and the Senate with a brief interlude of an independent caucusing with the Dems. Again Bush had a Republican Congress for 6 of his 8 years in office.
As for the Bank bail out, Bush asked for the $750 billion for the bailout and that is what the Dem congress gave him.
For Gods sake man, do a little research. Maybe you won't come across as such a fool the next time. Don't depend on talk radio for your news.
And by the way, I am not your friend.

yes creek your right, but times didn't get bad until the last two years of Bush's administration. The lib's and dem's are to blame. They screw the working and support the poor, that is why we are in this mess. Look at the stock market since the Dem's have took over congress. Was 12000 now around 7500. Lib's are so stupid, they just don't get it!!

You have a screw loose. The economy doesn't turn off and on with a switch. We are feeling the results of the Republican agenda. If you like trickle down economics all I can say is...... ENJOY. The garbage you hear on talk radio and FAUX news is nothing but right wing wacko propaganda. If you voted for Bush and his Wall Street hucksters then you deserve what you get.

where are the jobs?

where are the jobs?

WHERE ARE THE JOBS?

exactly all the jobs are going to be cut
no more mineing
car industry failing
401 K failing
stockmarket=failing

I hate to inform you -you must have plenty
of money but alot of people from the South
are in coal mines and don't have the money
to go back to school to become some kind of
big wig neither does many people Congress is
wanting to cut hundreds of thousands of jobs
and open jobs that alot of people have no
chance in getting around here. For the
last time the Bail out was even pushed by
Obama and Congress they didn't put rescrictions
on it they (Congress decided where the money was
to go)Then they tried to blame bush and alot
of iggits are being brain washed like you in
believing that Bush had everything to do with
it . Man are you kidding. I worry about the
poor like myself (I'm in better shape than alot)
you must have alot of money not to worry about
your neibors that are losing there homes ,can't
feed their children, can't get medical help.Obama
himself said he would have everything fixed within
a year then after sworn in said it would take a
decade before any improvement and it would get alot worse before it was over with. So now that
everything is all one side majority why can't he
fix everything like he promise youall YEAHRIGHT
he was talking out his hinny and listen to
C-SPAN they are giving this new bail out away for
dumb stuff they should have taken the 1500Billion
and devided among the working American people and
it would have shot the economy right back up.
THEY ARE GREEDY GREEDY GREEDY.JUST OUT FOR
THEMSELVES
all of you are stupid
