Apparently, you don't pay attention, or too worried not to get the last word. No one said anything about Bro. L. It is not wise to make assumptions. I was referring to attendance. In regard to your comment... Pastor Jim IS a great Pastor. When you learn your enemies and your "friends," are the same, it is easy to become ill.......... It is similar to divorce.

I don't know what you are talking about that happened Fathers Day. Bro. Lonnie is great and Pastor Jim was a great pastor but the last 3 or 4 years he has been going down hill he is sick. So until the few remaining ones move to Hawk Creek it will not get better. I feel for Hawk Creek with the crew that has left to go there.

A really good pastor or minister does not come
into a church that is in turmoil. Differences
should be dealt with and settled before a new official is hired. I am amazed how many people on this post make remarks about other churches
(especially Hawk Creek). Is that a sign of a true christian?
Just exactly

You can bet that if it is who I heard it was, it's business as usual. He came from the few remaining people that stayed if that tells you anything. That should bring everyone running back. NOT!!!!!!!!!!

sorry to say, it's not the whole church, it was a lot of lying deacons and old families that feel they own the place

Well The Moncrief's are gone. And the Combs. They are upset with their choice in pastors but don't stick around to fix anything. But maybe this is better they both like to run things and cause trouble in other churches and move on.

I have a couple of questions for you.#1. Why are you 'upset' about these families leaving? And #2. Which Combs family are you talking about? There used to be three different Combs families there.

Upset because they say the pastor is preaching Calvinists. Doctrine. But they brought him here and leave. The combs are Anthony. And leshia. Rosa has been gone since blaylock and tom comes and goes. Don't understand what is going on!

I have noticed on thier TV telecast that some of the memebers are no longer in the Chior. Hardly anyone in the congergation now. I think a bunch of the members there had preachers itch. Alot of people there are rich want to be people. That Blaylock though he was better than everyone else. He would come thru up at ST Joes hospital with that head and nose in the air like he was god. They have a good pastor there now as far as I can tell. They should have held on to Brother Felty for one thing.

Their upset because these 2 people were on the search committee and voted this joker in and then bailed out when the church went downhill ...... They should have had a backbone and fired the little weasel. The church is getting what it deserves for treating blaylock like they did .... Some people there will sure have judgement coming on them for acting the way do, hiding behind religion and being a hypocrite.

Blaylock was one of the nicest people I've ever met. I don't know what the problems were, but I assure you him being rude wasn't the problem!

The church went downhill because as someone stated earlier. They all had preachers itch. You obviously have never been at St Joes Hospital when a certain pastor made his rounds with his nose in the air.

the false church is on it's way out

Acts 7:48
Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,

Acts 17:24
God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
