You better be careful what you wish for it may just happen and someone you love may be standing dead center.

...don't break your arm patting them on the back...most of the KSP are as corrupt as Clay county's residents....if they were such a great police force the problems of that community wouldn't be....(get it?, got it?....GOOD!...good day.)

For the people that have a MEDICAL ILLNESS ,and have to take meds. you know how it is to have to go somewhere, Including out of town, you have three choices, 1, take all of your meds with you, and take a chance of getting ROBBED and or KILLED. 2, take what you think you may need with you, and hope you dont get stopped by POLICE, or,,, oh yes ,3 ,JUST STAY HOME. Now which would you do?? And when you do go out of town do you go without cash on you? Besides, this MAN works, yes he has a J.O.B. with his illness. Is it REALLY going to get to where if you have more than 5.00 on you it is ILLEGAL ?? As for those of you that do not have a medical illnes, DO you have a J.O.B...?If you DON'T know the whole story please keep your opinions and or negative comments to yourself. Not everyone in Clay County is a druggie or a dealer.I know alot of very friendly people in Clay County that are not now nor have ever been into drugs. But, there are alot of people there and elsewhere that have to make the decision every day of their lives...WHAT AM I GOING TO DO ABOUT MY MEDS? Believe me, ITS NOT A FUN CHOICE TO HAVE TO MAKE! HOW would you handle that choice if it were YOU?

Well, I guess all of the people that have CANCER, LUKEMIA, SYSTEMIC MASTOCYTOSES, CRONIC ARTHRITIS,ECT,ECT,ECT. Better stay at home ,in doors for the rest of their lives or they will be concidered A DRUG ABUSER,AND OR A DRUG DEALER ??? Come on , get a life! Try putting yourself in thier shoes, would you want to be at home ALL THE TIME just because YOU have to take MEDICATION?

Date of News Release: 08/27/12

(London, KY.)–- On Sunday, August 26, 2012, at approximately 9:33 PM troopers from the Kentucky State Police Post 11, London, were conducting a traffic safety check point on US 421 at the intersection with KY 1350, 10 miles north of Manchester in Clay County.

During this traffic safety check point Trooper William Cowan stopped a 1998, Buick, passenger car and determined the operator, Johnny Davidson, 53, of Manchester was under the influence of drugs and placed him under arrest. Trooper Cowan then located forty-eight (48) Xanax and six (6) Oxycodone tablets in the car and $2,965.00 in cash on Davidson.

Davidson was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Drugs, Trafficking in a Control Substance 1st Degree and Trafficking in a Control Substance 3rd Degree and lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.

Trooper Cowan is in charge of the investigation assisted at the scene by Trooper Justin Oliver and Trooper Matt Ridener.

Well now, isnt that something...Johnny needed to take his Xanax and Oxycodone pills and sounds like he had taken a few. Im just glad he got caught before he hit someone head on and killed innocent people...Wonder what kind of job Johnny has that he has to carry 2,965.00 dollars on him??? Thank you KSP for the fine job you do.

lol well, lets see, he works, what he carries with him is his busness , thats funny, because ,, you see there is a mention of other meds, but, they are not street drugs,,, so lets write it up as a drug thingy,,, see.... it says under investagation,, means... theres more to it than you know or care to know, most of the cash was from his J.O.B. meaning it goes to his BOSS. The rest is his weeks pay from his J.O.B.{SHOULD I EXPLAIN WHAT A JOB IS?} or {BOSS}? Follow the story , all through the court, when they get to the med bottles, the med. records, and the scripts that havent been filled yet, then you will have the truth. People that have a illness live a very dangerous life, and very complicated, so please,, just look around and ask questions of the people that are ill. see what they tell you of their tremendous life.and how safe it is for them to go out somewhere with their meds on their person.

while you are sitting there thinking of something to reply back,,,, please go onto webmd.com ,,,,, look up systemic mastocytoese, in the 4th stage ..... then tell me what you would do if you were ill, had bills, and was offered a job. would you take the meds, and work as much ,for as long as possible, or would you sit back an do nothing? you really need to open your eyes as well as your mind,,, there are good people in this world as well as bad, there are ILL people as well as HEALTHY.THE HEALTHY LIVE LONG AND PROSPER, THE ILL DO WHAT THEY HAVE TO IN ORDER TO GET BY,,,,its apparent you have no connection with good people that have a illness. I cant help what the drug users and dealers do,, just sometimes, sometimes GOOD ,HARD WORKING PEOPLE , THAT JUST HAPPEN TO HAVE A DEADLY ILLNESS GETS CAUGHT UP IN A MESS. REMEMBER, INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY ?!! I hope for yopur sake, you are healthy as a horse for the rest of your life, ohh yes,,, GOD BLESS YOU!

BY THE WAY , WHEN YOU POST A ARTICLE,,, WHY NOT POST THE WHOLE THING, INSTEAD OF ' JUST WHAT YOU WANT PEROPLE TO SEE'?? THERE IS ALOT MORE TO THIS STORY THAN YOU CAN OR WILL EVER UNDERSTAND. LIKE I STATED BEFORE, THERE ARE GOOD PEOPLE AS WELL AS BAD IN THIS LOVELY WORLD. AGAIN,, THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU WOULD DO IF IT WERE YOU? WOULD YOU...#1 STAY HOME?...#2 TAKE ALL YOUR MEDS WITH YOU,[TAKING A CHANCE ON BEING ROBBED OR KILLED FOR THEM] OR...#3 TAKE WHAT YOU THINK YOU WILL NEED WHILE YOU ARE GONE,{ALTHOUGH YES IT IS ILLEGAL TO CARRY LIKE THAT} IT IS STILL ALOT SAFER FOR YOU AS A PERSON TO DO. YES CLAY COUNTY HAS A VERY BAD REPUTATION FOR DRUGS, BUT ITS NOT THE ONLY PLACE,,, THE WHOLE WORLD DOES,,,AND SOMERSET IS NO BETTER.

if you had a job, where you were trusted, yes , you would carry what ever amount you were required to, or, are you saying you cant be trusted with 2,960.00? i didnt say it doesnt look bad, im saying he is not a drug dealer, and thats 1 of the reasons its UNDER INVESTIGATION. Because theres a medical reason for the medication. have you ever heard of plumping the story in order to sell more papers? you cant always believe what the papers or tv report, they are doing their jobs, SELLING.
