Thinking of signing my daughter up to do the pageant, what can you all tell me. How many kids actually attend this, she's 2. I would think for the price of entry that not many would LOL!

What is the price of entry? Also when is it?
it is free for you

It will not cost YOU a thing to put your toddler in the chicken beauty pageant! The price will likely be paid by your daughter when she spends all day in a hot room with a bunch of other miserable kids wearing uncomfortable clothes who are getting ready to be judged on their looks! Good luck to ya!

I think you should go 4 it, even if she don't win, the memories will last 4ever, and the expierence should be alot of fun!!!! P.s - My husband's niece is 4 and she has won Queen in her age catgory all 4 yrs. she has entered. And her mom gave me some tips, because i 2 put my 15 month daughter in the pageant for the 1st time this year! She said her daughter has won best dressed 2 every year, and said the judges dont like real fancy dresses!!!! Hope i helped!

It is over for this year, it's like $100. you can go to www.kentuckypageants.com and find out more, it's over this year though. There's a pretty good group of 1-2 year olds. My little niece was in it, there were like 12 or 13 little girls, My knephew won king;

it is over but it's not all bad it's only what you make of it. if you go in to win then you are probably going to be miserabl but if you go in to have fun then it's pretty cool. the cost usually is about 170 dollars. but you can raise the money. my little girl is 6. she loves doing it.

I totally agree! it's all about having fun. all the girls are pretty and it takes a lot of courage to get out there and do what they do. my daughter did the teen division and gets to go to state in nov. she's thrilled!!!
so, you can sell ads and enter for basically nothing or u can pay $170, it's depends on how much the child wants to do it..

oh, jamie finley is pretty and she has beautiful hair!!! so i think whoever u r ur JEALOUS of her. and no that's not my daughter i just met her the day of the pageant...

Good Luck 2 all the girls going to state in Nov...

This pageant is overpriced for what you win. Will not attend again and a big waste of money

it's only a waste of money if your child doesn't like doing it. it's just like any other thing they do. it's not a waste of money to pay for cheerleading basketball or any other thing your child likes to do. if your child enjoys it then it's not a waste

I saw the pageant on sunday. I think they were all beautiful and I am glad they all walk away with a title and a trophy. I think the cutest was the little chick in the feather costume. It was original. I am not sure if she won that catagory but she was the cutest.
