Michael's is just out of town on 80. Does anyone know about this place? What kind of services are there? Is it clean? What's the price? Or anyone know anything else about it?

I'm just wondering, has anyone been there? It can be pricy and still be worth it. What services are available?...facials? massages? nails? hair salon exclusively or also a spa? Can someone please let me know?

The owner is an amzingly awesome person. You know how sometimes you walk into a salon and immediatley walk back out because the hairdressers' hair looks horrifying and your afraid to look like that...well, not here. You want to run and sit in the seat and beg her to do your hair like hers. The place is very nice inside. Very clean. Very professional. No trash talk. It is worth what you pay for. The do everyhting there. Waxes, massages.....great place.

Michal is awesome...got hair cut and highlights for $65 but my hair might be shorter than "Hubbard's" Full service salon, nails, massage, facials..the works, wouldn't think of going anywhere else. She stays booked and it's hard to get in with her so what does that tell you?

I went to Michael's hair salon a couple of weeks ago for a cut and just a few highlights. I just called and made an appointment with who was available and I must have gotten someone just out of school. My hair had way to many highlights even after I told her exactly what I wanted. Now my hair is dry.
So I won't go back there. Maybe some of the other stylists are better.

just because someone just got out of school doesn't mean they are a bad hairdresser. In fact when someone is in school or just out they are more likely to do exactly what you want because they aren't quite set in their ways yet. If you got bad hightlights or more than what you wanted then Yes it was the hairdressers fault, because she didn't listen, not because she didn't know what she was doing and I can assure you that it has nothing at all to do with how long she has been out of school, because I've had girls fresh out of the board give me a fabulous hair style while I've also had people who have been doing this for years screw my hair completely up. Time has nothing to do with it, it's all abuot communication and skill.
