Will this turn to a federal charge because of forgery and also being narcotics ?Looks like it would be since the feds indict people for buying sudafed
it looks like getting narcotics in someone elses name would be worse .
My thoughts exactly, but they will see if they know enough users to let them off by ratting,Feds are the worst for this. They will walk if they can get enough names for the feds, this is why i hate the ratting system.Everyone ,and i do mean everyone, ought to have to pay for their sins, not be free as long as they can trap others.

She very well may be a good person, but "good" ppl don't go around lying, deceiving, and forging prescriptions. Don't try to downplay what these girls did! It'll all come out in the end and if it don't, it's only because they make a deal to rat. Looks like they need to get some of their church friends to pray for them.(sarcasm)

Why would anyone make such a comment about church? At least she goes to church. Being a Christian does not mean you are perfect. Everyone stumbles. Everyone has problems. I can bet there isn't a single person posting on this that has not had a family member suffer from addiction. Addiction is a disease. It can strike anyone. No one is immune. People should be praying for others when they stumble instead of making harsh comments in an attempt to hurt them even more. People need to be careful of the comments they make because the shoe could be on the other foot before they know it!

How well i know, but my family got 10 years for 2 pills, his bond was 10,0000,not 1000,and no he wouldn't agree to rat.Yes addiction is a disease, but it don't justify the courts playing favorites.Find me anyone else besides a RAT WHOSE BOND WAS THIS LOW,YOU CAN'T.

There are many factors that go into choosing bond level. Previous record, flight risk, and if children are involved all play a role in the amount of bond chosen. Level of bond has nothing to do with the decision someone makes to be an informant. If they were going to be informants the bond has nothing to do with that. In the end that decision will be down on any discovery documents of anyone that is arrested due to information provided. These women are not really in a situation to be informants.

If your family was arrested for 2 pills and got that amount of time there was more to the situation than just possession of two pills.

Does anyone know if this was on 10 different patients.I am hoping so because at least it wont be on one or two persons records making it look in the system like they have a drug problem.
Really pitiful that you cant go to a doctor or dentist anymore with out risking your information being used.
I never take a script thats offered for pain meds.Always just use Tylenol rather than get a controlled medication. But I suppose that gives the worker the option to call in the script for someone else.Scary world now.
Saw a news story where the officer said that with the drug problems today that this type thing is actually more common than we would think. How many workers are in position to call in meds and for someone.

What did they do with the pills they stole.Did they sell them, get them for family members,or take them them self?

He sold 2 pills to a police informant,no trouble before, the first thing they ask you going in is how many people you know who are involved that you might can help them with[this is at the jail by the cops]If you say noone and stick with that, your bond will be set so high ,no normal person can afford it.After laying there a month sometimes they reduce it,but these girls have agreed to help,no other reason they'd be out and none of the people they wrote the pills on notified,if it was really going to trial, all the people would by law have to be notified.

Really?
If not then they must be hooked on pills them self thus taking them or supplying a family member because if they were selling them then they certainly had to have some customers that were buying. If so then I would think they would be ask their names.

Then he must have been in trouble previously. Their bond has no bearing on being an informant or not. Most of the time informants get out without any bond. These girls are not in a situation to be informants. With their names and faces on the news. Also I personally feel that if people aren't doing anything wrong they shouldn't be worried who is an informant and who isn't.

You sure are pushing hard to TRY and make it appear they cant be an informant...Very strange, and as you say if one isnt hiding anything then there is nothing to be worried about. You sure are worried about something huh in regard to the informant implications huh?
Obvious how you skip over and ignore posts asking questions too.

...if the damn backwood pharmacy would have required identification, they would've never got one single pill!...I think the damn pharmacy should be held responsible also...fire those asses for giving out narcotics without any identification WTF?...if you don't agree, stick it up your ass!
