I was thinking about getting a few. Does anybody on here do it? I went to the one by Kroger, now I just can't make my mind up. What's the catch to it?

don't do it! the catch is that you will NEVER catch up...they take money from people who don't have money to begin with. please don't get yourself into the trap.

Hey they are addictive. My sister had 8 at one time and had to go to some kind of place to put them together to pay them off.

ain't that the truth. You will never get out of it unless you get a big refund and pay it off and that's if you can make till then

Yep, and then something else comes up a few days/weeks/months down the road and you are right back in there. These places are no better than drug dealers.

It does sound good, borrow $200, pay back $203 or whatever, but this is for a first time customer. After the first time it goes up (drug dealer).

Most people that use this service are already living paycheck to paycheck, so when they get their paycheck, they have to pay off the check place first, then they borrow more money to pay their other bills. It's just an endless cycle.

I do cash other checks there sometimes, after I swore off banks altogether. Their check cashing rates are cheaper than walmart sometimes.
