If you read the obituaries again, you'll notice that one was still born at Saint Joseph - Lexington, the other London. The average US stillbirth rate is a little under 1%. On a average year Saint Joseph - London will experience 6.086 stillbirths. Most stillbirth are for unexplained reasons and have little to nothing to do with your choice of hospital. Before you start fear mongering women into going somewhere else, that rate is pretty consistent nationwide...

LOL free speech is the first ammendment not the fifth.

Sounds like you don't know what you are talking about.
BTW I just had my baby there and compared to the other hospitals I delivered in this one was probably the best. I had a c section. Very thurough operation. Very caring nursing staff. Overall a very good birthing experience. Try the health care situation in California then come back here. You will be very happy with the quality you seem to be taking for granted.

A stillborn child is usually not the fault of the hospital. Most of the time it is no ones fault. Sometimes babies die for no reason in utero. Its no ones fault, it happens. Sometimes situations like a small amniotic rupture happens and the mother may not know and the fetus succumbs to an infection. These things happen and to fault a hospital is ignorant.

still murdermount, what ever the amendment is, I have that right. I would not take my dog there and I have that right. If you ignorant people want to give those money hungry hormongers your money go ahead, not me, I would not take my dog there. I will never ever darken their doors.

Good, I'm glad you will never go there, because I would hate to think that if I may ever need to be in the hospital that you may be there. You sound as if you should be in Eastern State Hospital, because you definitely aren't all "here".

I will always go to St joes London. I have been in that hospital with 2 major surgerys. and on other occasions. Let me tell you I totally trust that hospital. Lot of patient care depends on the surgion and dr you have. Not the facility. London has a few good drs in it. I hope it just keeps growing with more Drs. and More procedures going on at St Joes London. There is alot of people in laurel co and surrounding co cannot afford to drive back and forth to lexington and louisville when they have family in the hospital. You guys better be thankful for st joes london. and hope it keeps expanding and growing with good drs. I will avoid going out of london to drs and a hospital as much as I can.

Ok, first, St Joseph london is a great hospital and the name "murdermount" has nothing to do with people dying there because of any kind of malpractice.. it is called that because a serial killer named Donald Harvey began murdering people there in the 70s.. before going on to other hospitals... so yeah..

You can dam better bet I will have surgery done here in london at st joes if there is a surgeon there that can do it. I have had 3 major surgerys done at st joes 2 at the old hospital and one at the new st joes. I had the best of care there. Im not driving and having my family drive all the way to lex or knoxville or lou to have a surgery done that I can very well have done here in London. Like I have always said. YOu all better be glad you got such a nice hospital and good drs at the st joes london. I am glad they stopped alot of that welfare running and keeping ER backed up with all this welfare trash wanting a pill.

i think it was because Donald Harvey the serial Killer
worked there and that was his first job , he killed a lot of
pateints at Marymount before moving on up North and killing a lot
more then there is that crazy women who worked there and took her
grandchild with her and left it in the vehicle all day long to die
she never once had enough mind to remember he was with her all
day long Who would want to have someone with a mind that bad looking over there sick ones i sure would not.
What was sad thing this women never even went to prison i see on
the news where people go to jail and spend time for just leaving
there child in a car a few minutes and there kids are fine .
why isnt justice fair ?this little child had no justice and the
one who should have been protecting him from harm let him die.
