Well...actually I am pretty close to being a vegeterian. My point is that if you have ever owned a dog and cared about it you will find that an evolution of a close bond develops. Dogs have been bred to be human companions. They are not for food. If you and your precious obama find my points an aberation from a normal human diet then I think you are nuts.

I do find your points on a human diet an aberation. I will however give you your point on an American diet for the most part. I too have formed many special bonds with animals, it's unavoidable when you have farmed your whole life. My question is if your vegetarinism is from a moral point of view or simply one of nutrition? Truce....offered....I am getting closer to vegetarianism for purposes of nutrition...and partialy morality. I have tried for about 16 months of offering cogent points and counterpoints on arguements and also citing sources for the opposition to examine....only to have vile thrusts of insult hurled towards my positions. I was educated as an anthropologist so I do have an illuminated and not ethocentric point of view concerning social phenomenon. My technique has developed from offering insight to shedding light upon hypocracy through the trapping of the unenlighted in their own net. My posts are not vain but thought out beacons ferreting out fallacy, ignorance, and hypocracy. Sometimes with lowbrows it is quite simpler to cut to the marrow quickly and efficiantly. Conservatives were crying about Obama food police when an over zealous teacher took away a child's lunch from home. As usual conservatives were blaming the actions on Obama. When the facts came out it had nothing to do with Obama of course.
Now we see the conservative food police. The only real gestapo in the U.S. patrolling and condemning the actions of a child living in a different cultural setting with different cultural ideas. As usual the conservative gestapo are attacking anything different from what they are use to.

No I am not saying Obama did not grow up an American. The time President Obama spent with his father in another country allowed him the opportunity to experience another culture. He was a child visiting his dad. His father's culture had no problem eating dog meat. Many countries have no problem with eating it. Yet, now we have the conservative gestapo patrolling what we eat.
