Are you seriously wanting to rent a field? Have you checked with friends & family that may have one? Or a place that's special to you? Your wedding theme could be "field of dreams". lol

well dont make it sound so stupid. there are plenty of grassy rec areas around laurel lake you can rent.... ex: craigs creek. any churches with enough lawn to have a tented reception would be good too. my friends and family dont have anything or i wouldnt even be asking for help on here.

I didn't mean for you to take me that way. I was being serious. I just can't see you having to rent a field that's all. Well since you know of so many places why'd you ask? Best wishes. If you do have it in a field, you could release thousands of live butterflies just as you kiss? Good luck!

I have an acre of land in Laurel county that has nothing on it at this time. It is surrounded bu trees. The driveway is a bit rough but you would be alone. May need a little TLC because I haven't been over there in awhile. If interested post.

I have a field, although you would have to share it with the cows, I don't think they would mind. I could give you a ride on the tractor out to the middle of the field so you wouldn't have to dodge the cow patties.

i went to an outdoor wedding down at that hotel by Cumberland Falls once and it was one of the prettiest I have been to. It overlooked the river. I think because it is a state park it would probably be pretty reasonable.

Well i dont see anyone letting a random person have their wedding on their land without any money incase they mess it up or make a mess. and I want options. You only get married once.

It's alot of liability for the property owner. Being held responsible for each guests safety. Someone may have one for you though. The KY horse park is amazing for weddings. I wish you the best on only getting married once.

My daughter had a beautiful outdoor wedding at the old bible camp. The reception followed inside the camp kitchen. If you want more info or to see some pics just send an e-mail to [email protected]

Have you checked out Heritage Hills Banquet Hall? They have a barn like building with a huge deck on the back over a lake. Attended an outside wedding there once. Beautiful

Levi Jackson Park may be an option. I don't know, just trying to think of places.

You may want to call one of the bridal shops in either London or Somerset and see if they have any suggestions from previous brides.

Keep in mind that you will need parking, bathrooms, etc. for a crowd.

I saw some pics of a wedding on the old Sue Bennett campus a few years ago. I don't know if they would do something like that now but it has some pretty spots and a historical significance.

Good Luck finding a place to get married. I have called everywhere and everyone wants 500 dollars even the churches in london ky. Seriously where does people get married that it does not cost so much. I am really shocked that the churches around here have turn into business and want to charge so much money to let someone get married in there church. If anyone has any ideas let me know.
