Besides fueling a more divisive political climate, Super PAC spending reveals how the US elections are being dominated by the funding of the super rich, making the overall political process less about free speech and more about hate speech.

It’s not completely fair to simply “you could have done this for that amount of money,” but which outlay is more valuable?
Restore Our Future, Inc. spent $5,441 in New Hampshire running attack ads against Newt Gingrich.
An organization like charity: water can give 272 people fresh, clean water for $5,440.
As three year-old Burner the Younger likes to say through clenched teeth,“This. Is. Redickoowus.”
The absolute waste of money donated through Super PACs, campaign contributions and the like has simply got to stop. The U.S. Government already gives $85 million to qualified candidates for campaigning. After the Super Bowl, the Oscars and Dancing with the American Idol Mad Men finales, what do Americans care about more than the presidential election?
It shouldn’t cost $5.3 billion as it did in 2008.

No. Separation of Church and State came about to help maintain freedom of religion. Originally the Separatists, or pilgrims, left England because of fear of persecution from the Church of England. Catholicism being the state faith and entwined with the ruling of that nation. In order to ensure that religion continues to be free in this nation we must also keep religion and state separate. Ensuring that the most accepted belief does not destroy freedom of religion for others.
Can you imagine what it would be like if Baptists, Lutherans, Catholics ect. were pitted against one another in a fight to see who's belief's would be the national beliefs on faith. We would all be forced to be, for example, Primitive Baptists, or perhaps Methodists. That is why we need separation of c and s. To maintain our religious differences. That is our right.

It's sad but most people who claim to be Christian are cultural Christians only. They believe in God and Christ but know little of the Bible, much less understand it. These are the individuals that destroy religious freedom because they use the Word to manipulate others. They are also easily manipulated by others twisting the word.
You can thank the conservatives for the outsourcing of jobs. President Bush tax bill created the hole for corporations to move overseas. Taking jobs American's used to have with them. That tax bill also allowed corporations to use American tax money to train foreign workers in those jobs overseas. Rather than the corporations having to train those workers on the corp. own dime.
Democrats do help other nations when disaster strikes. However, conservatives start a false flag war for profits.(Iraq)And murder their own people. They cut back on spending at home because conservatives don't like to keep up infrastructure at home, unless it will get them reelected.
While the conservatives claim they are pro-life they continually assault Appalachians with mountaintop removal.

The conservatives have gradually set up a fail system for the U.S. economy over several administrations. 2 wars under Bush and his tax bill moving corporations overseas along with tax breaks set us in the hole. He cut out spending here at home but gave the rich tax breaks. Our infrastructure has declined horribly and Obama has worked to rebuild as much as possible. He has returned assistance to veterans were the conservatives cut out spending. It's easy to destroy but hard to rebuild.

The phrase "freedom of religion" doesn't appear in the Constitution either, so does that mean that the Constitution not guarantee it, or can you just not read?

Try reading statements by other forefathers. They made it fairly clear they didn't want religion and government intermixing. Some were very blunt concerning it. Thomas Jefferson and James Madison for example.

Also read the laws covering tax exempt status for churches. If they politic they can lose their tax exemption.

You mentioned John Adams. Here's something else he wrote .....
