During this critical election season, I’d like to share an important story with you as told by the late Dr. D. James Kennedy.“Back in 1776, the most influential man in the little town of Lexington, Massachusetts, was a parson named Jonas Clark. On the night of Paul Revere’s historic ride Parson Clark was having dinner with John Hancock and Samuel Adams.“These two great patriots asked Clark the question: If war came, would the men of Lexington fight? Reverend Clark replied that he had trained them for that very hour.“The very next day, the ‘shot heard ‘round the world’ was fired just yards from Clark’s parsonage!“Our liberty as a nation and a people began humbly in a church, with a parson who wasn’t afraid to speak out on the great issues of freedom and tyranny. In fact, the sermons preached by ‘the Black Regiment’(so named because the clergy wore black robes), set the stage for liberty in America…” Now let's jump ahead two hundred thirty six years later and we find ourselves in a fight for liberty once again – with the church poised to be at the center of the battle. Why the center of the battle, you ask? With fifty percent of conservative Christian women not registered and half of those who are registered choosing not to vote, I would argue the church needs to play a vital role in the fight for liberty in America. The question is: Will today’s pastors boldly shepherd their flocks – especially the millions of Christian conservative women who aren’t registered or who simply don’t show up to vote, or will they fall silent out of fear of retribution from the Left? Empowering our Nation’s Pastors! Throughout our nation too many pastors are intimidated into silence under the guise of “Separation of Church and State”, and the fear that they could lose their tax-exempt status (even though no church in the history of our nation has ever lost its tax-exempt status for opposing or supporting a candidate for political office). That’s why as part of our “She Votes 2012” campaign, Concerned Women for America has created the Political Guidelines for Churches and Pastors to help them become lightning rods for spiritual renewal in our land by giving them confidence to boldly speak out on candidates’ views and encouraging faith-filled believers to vote! Concerned Women for America has identified 15,000 churches nationwide where we would like to send our pastoral resource. We are asking CWA team members to step up today and help sponsor churches to receive this important resource leading to the election and help us reach potentially 3 million citizens! Because the resource is not costly to print, it is possible for every member of our team to sponsor multiple churches! Just $25 can sponsor 10 churches. If we approximate that each church has 200 members, your personal impact on this important election could be 2,000 or more! Plus, when you step up to sponsor churches to receive our resource, we will send you one to give to your pastor as our way of saying thank you! Click here to get started: http://www.cwfa.cc/2830/offer.asp... Too many faith-filled believers just don’t vote. Together we must work to change that during this crucial election. And together we can empower our nation’s pastors, giving them the tools and confidence they need to shepherd their flocks.

What are you gonna do with Jesuses words,my kingdom is no part of the world, they will have to beat their swords into plows, neither will they learn war no more,Thou shall not kill, anyone who honestly believes Jesus would want his name associated with any political party, needs more help than it would be possible for anyone to give them.I'm not speaking of voting, but i wonder about that sometimes, but to bring religion into politics is insane,do we need the insane running our country?

All governments of this world are under Satan's rule. It will continue to be that way until Christ returns and God's government is established. Anytime you have a man-made gov. entwined with religion you will have people manipulated to do wrong with their own faith.

Then why is Obama favoring and pushing for Islam and Shariah Law?

He is plainly doing what the constitution says they wont do.
And that is to favor one religion or denomination over another.

"To anyone who says that church is no place to talk about these issues, you tell them there is no place better," first lady Michelle Obama said at a conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church in Nashville, Tennessee.

I think churches have become afraid of losing their tax exempt status if they speak out politically.

Below is a portion of the Tax Guide for Churches and Religion Organizations and the link. There is a lot of information in the tax guide if you click on the link:

...for their organizations to remain tax exempt under IRC section 501(c)(3), religious leaders
cannot make partisan comments in official organization publications or at official church functions.
To avoid potential attribution of their comments outside of church functions and publications, religious leaders who speak or write in their individual capacity are encouraged to clearly indicate that their comments are personal and not
intended to represent the views of the organization
