Anywhere on the South Side of London your best bet. The North side has a lot of gnarly places and seems to be more trouble there. If you are wanting a bar, then you would need to go to the South side of town. Luckily you can get to either side in a matter of minutes by taking the interstate.

All of the London exits have good, clean hotels and restaurants that serve alcohol.(Recommend Gondelier Italian Restaurant at Exit 41..delicious) All of London is a safe place. One exit is no safer than the other. As a female who must frequently travel alone, I feel comfortable at either exit.

I'm dissappointed it's being moved to Somerset. I was planning on being there the whole 3 days but now that may be hard. Too far to travel and going to be difficult to make arrangements.

it seems like the only part of the london city government that wanted it to happen was the london tourism board. all the others were trying to keep this from happening so they decided to move it to a city that actually wanted the boost to tourism and money comming in.

This would have been a really awesome thing to have in London. There were no bad aspects to it. Nothing bad at all.

Even my grandfather says turning the Horror Con down was a very stupid thing to do.

The fuddy-duddies in London want to keep London like it was in the 1920s. Anything modern they attempt to kill off.

Remember this when the next city election comes around. We need new people in city government.

Here is the link to the Dead Winter Horror Con in Somerset. Check out the two 'guest' pages. It has some really big names on it. It would have been a great thing to have here in London.

I'll try the guest pages again. For some reason they posted incorrectly.

If they do not post correctly this time just click the two guest links at the top of the main Horror Con page in my first post.

The reason they moved it is because none of the hotels around here would let the guests rent rooms, because last year, they trashed the place. We hotel owners can't afford to give out rooms AND pay for repairs.

In August the Comic Con is also going to be in Somerset. They get something to do and the town makes money at the same time. Here we can't even buy a case of beer.

I guess the london city hall actually just want to kill the town. everything that might help the city they are against. im surprized they even held chirstmas on main or the chicken festival anymore.
