The person sitting it the lobby helps you with whatever you need right. I bet shes not there either, just another promise to get elected. I heard the other day that laurel co was the only jail in the US that is drug free, Oh that didnt happen either just another rumor.

How about his promise that work release inmates could double bunk? Sure, it's not allowed, but it's something he promised to get elected. It would have been nice while he spent a "year" prior to the election formulating his "plan" to right the wrongs of the jail, that he would have checked to see if he could actually do some of the things he was promising, instead of just telling everyone what they wanted to hear.

Same old story at the jail. Lack of leadership, certain employees getting special treatment, health and sanitary issues, high budgets, hungry inmates and no accountability. How EXACTLY has the jail changed since Jack left?

How has the jail changed, as far as jail budget and standards of sanitation?

Anyone?

There is now a machine in the lobby that automatically takes half of anything put in it for an inmates commissary for a room and board fee, also a fee if they have to see a nurse for any reason. I DON'T KNOW who gets this money or what it is used for, but if the jail gets it...their budget should be just fine.

If the inmates want to be treated well then they should stay out of jail. That's the purpose of jail... make it so bad and they may not want to go back. I don't believe in treating them bad but it shouldn't be a vacation either. Inmates are treated better than most children in this county and that's just not fair.

The bible tells us to remember the ones who are bound and to feel their pain as if it was our own .Remember Jesus was throwed in jail
there are many people in jails and sent to prison for many years that are innocent ,anyone could go swear any kind of lie on you at anytime and have you sit in jail for years without bond waiting for a trial .
