Love your child. Happiness does not have a price sticker.

The absolutely best Christmas I ever had. I received a shirt and 4 orange slice candy. I would trade every other Christmas for just a smell or fleeting memory of that wonderful Christmas.

It was either a Christmas or stoker coal? Dad chose the coal. Thank God.

Go to a finance company you can borrow like a thousand dollars and they only charge a little over a hundred interest or take a small loan at your local bank .And you can pick up little gifts here and there at flea markets or sales at department stores .I have never borrowed money for christmas i only bought what i could afford as long as there is some gift for small children and plenty food for christmas dinner that is the most important thing of all .

I dont have good enough credit to do that at finance companies, which is why i came here. Im just asking for help to give my child a decent christmas. She still believes in santa clause so i'd like it to be nice for her.. Please, if you cant help me please dont leave nasty comments here. Im down enough about this as it is... If you can help then please help, it would be such a blessing =)

You can call local churches as they help local people with food and presents for their children. I know our church does. They will not give you the money but they will supply food and gifts.

My husband works his butt off and after paying all the bills we still don't have a lot of money. So I went and got a small tree at walmart 25 dollars, then to the dollar store for some ornaments..We got one present for her that is from santa and 2 from us..She is 3 and I know she will just have more fun with the boxes they came in.. I'm just saying after all that we only spent maybe 100-150 for everything.

$500 seems like an awful lot to be spending on christmas for one child.

Tell her the truth, there isn't any Santa Clause, she will respect you for it,for the life of me i cannot understand people harming their children lying to them at Christmas or any other time. What if you died, got bad sick ,then she would expect ole santa to still bring her stuff, then when he didn't she would know you for the liar you are.I understand people mean no harm, but lies are never right. There are so many lies mixed in with Christmas,i'm not sure even Jesus would know it,he'd call it the pagan holiday it is.

May God reward your kindness, but although i hope i'm wrong she probably won't settle for anything but new .she thinks her kid deserves it even if she has to go in debt to get it.

Everyone, just nevermind... I knew better than to put something like this on here. There are no true guardian angels left in the world. Where is the "good tidings" and christmas spirit? All you people do is put down and judge. I recall asking for a LOAN, not a simple "handout".....

Geez, Merry Christmas everyone...
