Ok, after last years battle over prices dish subscribers lost out on some shows, SOA was my biggie. Now they've cut out AMC and so. No walking dead, breaking bad, mad men and so on....
Call them, use the buttons on the recording to cancel your service. When they get. On the line, and they do fast through that option, tell them your canceling because of the AMC greed battle. There first offer will be a 10.00 credit a. Month for 6 months, refuse it and the next offer will be for a free Roku streaming box, streams 1080 hd over the net and covers a crapton of channels. Including AMC. Who says topix can't be helpful!

Do they charge a monthly fee with the Roku?

It's 100% free, the only thing you may have to pay for is to subscription services like Netflix or Hulu

Do you have to agree to keep Dish
for two more years?

No I didn't. The role offer was just to keep me with them. They also agreed to wave the 100.00 fee on the hopper upgrade if I chose to do it but that is a 2 year agreement so I passed on it.
