My husband (who never comments on things like this) said yesterday how pretty it looked downtown. It does look very nice.

why is there no lights around the court house? I THINK THAT MAKES IT LOOK STUPID.

I feel the town is pretty, but what happened to the lights that we had last year that went across the streets? Those were always pretty also. It would be a little added touch!

I don't think the word is "stupid", it just looks dark. They could have wrapped the columns in garland and used flood lights to brighten the front of the building.

do you remember the time Big John has so many lights he blew the transformer. I always enjoyed his lights and he would give candy to the kids. Those were the good ole days.

They are very nice, but why are they on in the daytime? Seems like a waste of electricity to burn them during the day. They make timers for this sort of thing.

I agree. I'd love to be able to drive around the jail with the windows down listening to Alvin & The Chimpmunks and looking at the lights. That's a wonderful childhood memory of mine and I'd like to share it with my children.

I wish Corbin and London would go together somewhere between the two towns like in LILY and make a huge display some where Like Lexington has for all the families around here So We would not have to spend money somewhere else to see Millions of Christmas light We pay $50.00 in gas each year to drive to Southern Lights in Lex and then pay $15.00 more for a car load of family. I wish our money was kept here in our home towns. But we do not have nothing like this here ..Maybe someday I pray.. But out of the two towns I love the light down town on main st in London More then Corbin.

The Southern Lights are at the KY Horse Park, which is a state park. Don't think the town of Lexington has anything to do with the disply. Maybe Levi Jackson Park will someday have a light disply. I thinb there a citizens group of some kind who worked on getting the walking trail out there. Maybe they will work on gett Christmas lights in the park.
