The "murderer" killed one person relatively quickly. The drug dealer is responsible for the deaths and misery of many people and their families over decades.

Which is worse?

If you ever had one of your children or a loved one killed there is nothing worse than a mother losing one of her children her life is changed forever .Ask yourself would you rather your neighbor sell a bag of pot or come and kill one of your family members ?
Now remember that your loved one is gone forever and your whole life has changed nothing would ever be the same again a part of you died with them .If you had to kill someone to defend yourself or family it would be different but a life is so precious.

They're victims, just like prostitutes.

no they made the choice to do drugs no one forced them into it. the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem and placing the blaim where it belongs, on yourself for making bad choices.
Wondering

It depends, did this person have a choice in the matter or was the decision made by someone else?

does the person that does drugs have a choice in the matter or is the decision made by someone else ? do people hold them down and force the drugs down their throats or do they make the choice to swallow them theirselves ? i did them at one time even went to prison for it i made my choice to take them no one forced me. did i have peir pressure, yes i did but the utlimate decision to do them was mine and mine only. i could have said no but the decision was mine. i have no one to blaim but myself, blaiming some else is just an excuse/.
