An electric furnace is a furnace, nothing really special or different just because it is in a mobile home. If you are replacing an old one you need to know if the air blows out the top or the bottom, they call them top flow or bottom flow. You can find used electric furnaces cheap, check down at the Pittsburg Fleamarket, the guy outside has a lot of stuff like that. Of course buying it used you are taking a chance on it working. When the A/C compressor blows most installers recommend changing the furnace too so then you find good used furnaces around. Also check with some of these installers they may have some used ones. A new electric furnace is not that terribly expensive, but most places will want to install it, that's where they make their money.
