Don't do the spray tan. 3 of my friends and I got spray tanned last year for a friend's wedding. We were unnaturally tanned the first day, then the next day we looked good but by the third day our tan started peeling off. We looked like we had some kind of skin disease. It was bad and you stink too for a couple of days after you have it done.

Go to Shades Tanning in Corbin. They do the Mystic tan. It looks really good and natural. It lasts longer. If you let someone airbrush tan you, it looks orange and you look awful. The Mystic tan is different. You stand in a booth and it sprays your entire body in like 30 seconds. It has always done very well for me and my friends.

I totally agree with you. The Mystic tan is the best ever. You look great, like you have been on a tropical vacation.

I will try this. A real tan is NOT the way to go. I have had 4 malignant melanomas from the tanning bed. Now, judge the side effects on both and make your decision. A real tan also ages you. How much does the mystic tan cost? I would love to do that! All the stars go fake because of the aging side effect, and skin cancer risks. In about 5 years, there will be more places offering this kind of tanning around here. Now the spray tan that someone actually sprays on you does look terrible. I have seen that myself. Some of the self tanners in the store are also good, but you must exfoliate, and blend really well. Loreal Sublime is pretty good. Thanks for the info!!

I have never been to shades. Sounds interesting. What does it cost? I have a tanning bed at home, but for medical reasons also, I now prefer the spray on tans too. It doesn't last as long but I am ok with that. I go to Tan and Tangles. They do a great job. She has different shades to choose from. I never go real dark. However, I have been very happy with my results. One of the keys is to make sure you have just gotten out of the shower before you go. It is only about $20 and I think worth it. But I think I may check out this place shades. Can you tell me where it is located and the cost?

The Mystic tan at Shades in Corbin is $25 and it is on Hwy 25 just past the original KFC, go around the curve it's on the right in a gray building. (The building is in the curve)

The cost is 25.00. I think it is well worth the price. You need to shower, shave, exfoliate before you go for a better result. It really last alot longer than the self tanners bought at stores. It has something in it that bonds to something in your skin. Mine usually lasts really good about 5 days and then gradually fades. After you get it sprayed on, you need to wait at least 8 hours before showering or sweating. I always wait until the next day to shower after I get sprayed. Also when you shower, don't scrub yourself hard and don't towel off hard. I always pat dry when I shower after I get sprayed and it lasts longer that way. They also have different shades you can choose from (light, medium, and dark). You can also choose to get sprayed with the bronzer on with the clear. I always choose the clear. It seems to look better and the bronzer streaks and just washes off the first time you shower anyway. I would recommend this to anyone. If you go, let me know how you like it.
