You have to admit making it a felony to show breasts is a bit extreme even for repubs. But they're doing it in NC.

This is only one more bill among over a thousand bills across the nation aimed at women over the last two years. It shows the anti-women mentality of the people which have taken over the Republican Party. It shows their isms toward us. States are reducing real crimes down to misdemeanors and doing early prison releases of hardened criminals to reduce jail populations ..... but they (Republican drumbeaters) want it a 'felony' to go topless while sunning, swimming, etc? But it really shouldn't even be a misdemeanor, or anything wrong, in doing it.

It's always fun to explain to your 5 year old why their's aren't as big with nipples like aunt Rachel's cow? or Dadddy is that chocolate ice cream on her booooob? The fun never ends. However a woman feeding her child... very easy to explain the positive atributes of the female mammary system,(boobies, yes, boobies) to a 5 year old in that context. It is all true and satisfies the demons for a few more years.

With this law proving "for the purpose of sexual arousal" just might not stand up.

It's actually very easy to answer the five year old's question of ice cream. "Why, I don't know dear, let me lick it and see". If that's you wife's sister it may not be easy after you answer the question and if you sister, well that's just creepy, but you gotta find out somehow.

Just for the record Jenny, I want you to know that this is one GOP member that supports more naked women. Half naked will do but full is better. I think you should be able to swim or sun topless if you want. You do believe in the right to the roaming eye don't you?

There is no "law of the land" that entitles you to subjugate women to a sexual role.
The Constitution of The United States guarantee and defend the peoples' right not to have restrictive gun laws.
If you can not see the difference then you are a democrat.
Right now, I'd like a bologna sandwich with mustard. But first, I must call Ron Paul and ask him if it's in the Constitution. You people make my round cheerios turn square. It's only a matter of the Constitution when......it fits your agenda. You lost the election. Get with it!

Granny is back.

Ron and I spoke this morning, so I brought up your issue. You may proceed. Ron has assured me it is within your rights.

Sounds good to me. It has my approval. Stand up for foxy Dems right to go topless at Lake Cumberland. I've already seen them wearing just body paint as tops. Hell, I'll show up for every protest for it.

It's that we should have the right if we choose. But Republican religious-extremists see us (women) as sexual objects that should stay at home barefoot and pregnant. And they want to force that on us. A felony for being topless? Nearly 1100 Republican bills aimed solely at women in only two years? They didn't submit that many job creation bills.

I don't know about this. You ever see some of those libs that protest Playboy taking pictures at colleges. They only protest because no way they will ever make the grade.

Still the ugliest woman I ever saw naked looked better than any man. There I said it. Made the gays mad but it's true.

Playboy is a different issue. It sexualizes women as objects. But on the other side of the coin there's a lot of nude male magazines now days. Messing with freedom of press and speech can be a dangerous thing. If you remember one of the campaign issues and goals of Senator and Presidential candidate Rick Santorum (suprise, once again it's a Republican) was to pass a law banning all porno.

I though I would add this new event to this thread since it kinda ties in with Republicans in North Carolina so frightened by breasts they want to make it felony if a woman shows them.

In Virginia, Attorney General Kenneth Cuccinelli ..... yep, a Republican ..... is also a candidate for Governor. He has filed a motion with the U.S. Court of Appeals. What is he seeking you may ask ..... He's asking the Court to reconsider a past legal decision which overturned the state’s laws against sodomy and oral sex. He wants both made a criminal offense again. Oral sex was illegal for adults, for both straight and gay couples. And he wants it that way again. I hope I don't have to explain sodomy to you. The law banning it in Kentucky was ruled unconstitutional long before I was born.

What is it with the extremist-religious loons who have taken over the Republican Party, especially in state offices? They just don't seem to be afraid of sex, they seem terrified by it.
