Does anyone have any suggestions for a good family Doctor in London? It seems every one I have seen in the past, you usually have to wait for two hours to see the Doctor for 2 minutes. Thank you all for any suggestions!

I also would love to know of a good doctor. Our family doctor is Stokes and it is impossible to get them to answer a telephone and not to mention how long it takes when you actually have an appointment to get in to see the doctor!

Busy doctor offices is going to get worse. All these millions of people that will be picking up medical care in the near future will overwhelm the medical practice. So get use to sitting and waiting. As for general practioners, in my opinion, Yumang and Nancy Morris are good drs. But be prepared to wait anywhere you go.

Doctor Javiad is the best.
He is at the premier family health.
The staff treats you like family.
Doctor Javaid talks to you like
a family member.

I use Dr. Fuller at Baptist Primary Care in London. Never had to wait more than 10 minutes and get as much time with him as needed.

you are meaning the baby boomers i guess.but you are right.my doctor ,when i first started with her got you in and out within 30 minutes of appt.time, now it is closer to an hour or 2.she got a helper so unless you are real sick the helper takes you.which is ok by me.we are all gonna have to make concessions i guess, but a doctor that runs the office right still [unless an emercency comes in]should not make you wait any longer than an hour.i cancel and walk out and tell them to call me when they are less busy.we ruin them around here by putting up with it.when they get enough patients, they need to say no more.

Now I have been to alot of Doctors. Wasted time and lots of money. I will be 100% honest with you on my opinion of who to go to. Go to Baptist Primary Care in London and see Courtney Monaco. She's a Nurse Practioner. The Doctor there is Elzer Fuller. Courtney is the only person that I have ever been to who is interested in trying to find out whats wrong with me. She listens, writes everything down and takes her time with you. She doesn't rush and she will call you as soon as results come in to save you the trouble of coming in for the results. I believe I have found someone who cares and believes me about my health problems. She's done blood work on me that I have never had done before in my life. All these other doctors have told me I was crazy or that I didn't have anything wrong with me and believe me I have alot of health issues I had no idea that I had. I'm in my early 20's and already have Osteoporosis. I'd recommend Courtney to anyone. I haven't seen the Doctor there yet but I hear that he is pretty good too. Good luck and I hope you find the right Doctor!

Dr. Yumang in London is a wonderful doctor. He takes the time to listen and talks with you not at you. I've went to him for over 2 years and wouldn't go to anyone else. He's on 192 .

Thanks for all the information guys. When you become a patient at Dr. Fuller's office do you typically see the the Doctor on your appointments, or does the Nurse Practioner's help out a lot? I have some obvious health issues, but my current Doctor always seems to write everything off as anxiety. He doesnt even do a physical examination, he listens to my heart about once a year, and may look into my ears every now and then, but that is the extent. Is Dr. Fuller a younger Doctor, and does he speak good english?(Please dont take that last question the wrong way...) Thanks!

I for one will not let any muslim doctors treat me. On the other hand if I wanted to be blown up by terrorists those are the doctors I would be seeiing. Those bastards want to kill americans. I cant quite figure out why any American would ever go to one of them for anything unless your tired of living. I dont have a clue who DR fuller is. Sounds american. But is it? Did you all know that our 153 million dollar hospital uses a doctors group that hs ZERO american doctors working there. I DID SAY ZERO> One nurse told me she did think they had one mexican. But no Americans. Again. they can stick that 153 million dollar foreign aid expenditure up their wazoo. I will not be a patient there nor will my family members until they have american doctors on staff. I sincerely wish all americans felt that way. Im tired of all my money going to some foreign country that wouldnt piss on america if we were on fire. Cant quite understand why the rest of you americans dont feel the same way. I go to Dr. Maxie. He is a good doctor. Obviously likes to play with multiple kats but he is a good doctor that cares for his patients. As far as having to wait when you go to the dr. I dont wait over 15 minutes then I go ask the lady at the desk why Im not in front of the dr. I mean. I keep my appts. Why cant they? After 30 minutes waiting if Im not at least in a room I go get my co pay back and leave. If that happens to me twice I raise hell. Piss on em. Thats why they make appointments. If I keep my appt they should keep theirs. It kills me when I see a sign that says if you miss an appt without calling in a day ahead of time you will still be billed for an office call. When I see that sign and the wait is longer than 15 minutes I always go ask the lady at the desk if I can have the cost of the office call so I can go find me a doctor that has time to see me. That always brings some strange looks. If you all would stop waiting on them you can bet your ass things would change in a hurry. Why not give it a try. If your not in back within 15 minutes of your appointed time get up. get your copay back and leave. Tell the nurse to have the doctor give you a call if he ever finds the time to see you. Stick to it. Make the damn doctor call. Dont even accept a call from office staff. Its the doctors business so make him realize what being late for appts is about to do to him. Its called time management. Every proffessional should be up to par. If not let them sit and wonder why nobody is coming to see them.

Initially you will see the nurse prac..
The poster above is correct, Quartiny Monico is very good. She will have Dr. Fuller see you once she gets the info she needs if it is something she feels you need the doc for.
I'm sure you will be pleased with Dr Fullers office.

Yes, I actually get to see him. He may be in mid to late 50's not sure about that and is American so English is perfect! LOL! I get the question though. I don't or should I say won't go to any doctor that I can't understand. Been there and done that!
