I dont care how many years they have been in bussiness, in my opinion they are robbing their customers with poor quanity they are serving for the price. I had a Cheeseburger (cheese not melted) that looked like it had a bite taken out of it and nothing better than what you could get at a fast food place. I was charged $3.25 for this sorry excuse for a chesseburger. Additional I had a bowl (1/2 full) of canned campbells tomato soup for $2.50, and it was barely warm. They should be ashamed of their service they are providing. The profit margin they are gaining must be incrediable! I should have called 911 for a robbery that was comitted. I was robbed! No I am not whining here people but stating a fact! I have been cooking for 30 years and this family has become very wealthy off the local customers. If they pulled this stunt in a bigger city they wouldn't make it 6 mos. Sorry to say yeah they have been here for a long time, but being raised in a larger city and plenty of restaurants to compare to, I'd like to think I have little knowledge regarding this. So my advice is get out and try others, hell the new Dixie Cafe has them beet hands down. One more thought...they need to be taught serv safe, I watched the girl at the grill throw the buns on the grill, wipe her hands on her pants and continue to cook. Can you say Bacteria? This is what cause's your food borne illness's..POOR HABITS! Needless to say I won't eat there again. As I said before, this is my opinion and my experience today. Shame on me once...but not twice.

Man, I love Weaver's cheeseburgers, best I've tasted anywhere around here! The guy complaining about them sounds like he has a sour taste in his mouth, but I betcha it ain't from the cheeseburgers. Dixie is fair, but nothing like Weaver's and that's a fact!

They need to get a recipe, to go by.
Different cooks do not make it the same way every time.
Plus if they get a new worker, you know they are only going to pretend they know how to make chili to keep from getting fired.

I ate one hotdog there one day that tasted like it had sausage in it.
Yuck!

Weavers is my new favorite place
The first time I had the Kentucky Blue Burger
(Blue cheese) Awesome. Sue had chili bun we both drank water - total blll was $14

The Next trip I had the Chicken breast covered in cheese and green peppers / fries se had chili dog w/fies. we drank 2 beers - bill was $21

I love their big thick fries and man do they load the plate.
Different servers, both got great tips.

The atmosphere, the local sports photos, the food, the service - all great. Judd has really turned that place around.

if I had one criticism - the menu is black ink on brown paper - these old eyes.
oh boy

I eat there hot dogs on occasion and their fries. Chili isn't to bad, much better than Dixie, or Root beer Stand in Corbin. Watery chili at both places. Best chili around and clean service and preparation Is Whites Pro Billiards, Dean White; behind Advance Auto on 18th. St. South end of Corbin across from Krogers.

My job as a customer is to pay for the food I order. Not instructing poor restaurants on improving. Tips are earned. Prices should be reflected in prices.

SO my point...Barry...is if ya are gonna complain about this place..WHY EAT THERE??? Yes, we as customers have a say so if the product that we purchased iisn't of the utmost to our satisfaction then we can complain and get a refund...

I eat where I choose. It is the best way to find out if a restaurant is either good or poor. Hopefully you will try this method.

Tips are earned. Prices should reflect quality.

As for complaining and refunds? A 10 dollar lunch that has already caused me nausea doesn't need the additional aggravation of having to complain about the bad food.

I do have every right to voice any opinion of the restaurants either in person or on the net.

DumbassRestaurant Owner: I am mad you slammed my establishment...blah.... blah... blah.

Smart Restaurant Owner: I need to improve the quality of my establishment. Then I will not see damning critiques again.

Which?

You butt wad. I'm just a person that likes good chili, service and cleanliness. I got an opinion just like everyone's. I've eaten at all the places I mentioned, on more than one occasion. Bill Whites chili at Whites Pro Billiards is the best around. I don't work for the newspaper either. Daaaaaaaa! If you like the Dixie or the Root-beer Stand then ill save some dog food for you. The original Dixie, way back had some killer chili. Not the present one.

I just happened to be there when you (Never again) were there trying to show your behind. The management talked with you about your concerns and you refused their offers. I was setting across from you and I couold tell you wanted to cause a scene and you did to some extent, but the people that know Weaver's can read thru your objectives.
My question to you--if the food was that bad, why did you eat everything, and I mean everything. There was not even a drop of soup remaining nor a bite of burger.
Not real sure of your motives, but you is pissing on the wrong tree, it could have electric the next time.
