Well, I will say this. I work there and they are some things going on that is very interesting. Like, why would a Nash Finch employee come to Laurel Grocery and take down VIN numbers of the trucks? If they are so BIG and have so much money, why is it that they won't spend any on parts for the trucks, trailers supplies for the Warehouse? Why would they be buying pup trailers? Why is all the main KEY people being transferred to the Dennioson, OH Warehouse? Why just a few months ago would they layoff employees? Why would two of the KEY managers that's been hired recently; all come from Nash Finch? And I heard from a good source that Billy Buckles, the Warehouse manager, also came from Nash Finch! So Laurel Grocery, your employees aren't as dum as you think they are! If you are sold out, just tell the people! Times are too hard, they need to get ready and prepare themselves if you have sold out or any other thing in mind. Talk to your people, they at least deserve that much!

After the first of the year Laurel Gro. will be owned by another company! That is all anyone needs to know right now! The hard workers will be kept but the others will be layed off!

i worked at lgc for nine years. the company used to b a great place to work and the people were treated like somebody. but after jb came there you were just a number that they could do without. if the company sells, i hope that he does not go with it, after all this is not the first warehouse that he has ruined.

That's what everyone said about LCF also, now 185 are being laid off. LCF just purchased a big place in Michigan. Think about it.

Well did they close the doors and set the place ablaze? Its after 1-1-09 and I still see Laurel trucks serving the stores. What happened? You got us all excited and nothing happened, what a letdown. BOOOO!
