I am looking for a daycare for my daughter.
Out of all we have checked out, Mrs Barbera's seems to be the best overall. Anyone heard anything HONESTLY bad about it? I mean she has been around for 20 years, if she was a bad person or mistreated any of the children seems like she would be shut down by now right?
This is the first time my daughter will be going to daycare or anywhere without me. So it's not easy.
Thanks in advance for any help!

What do you mean too many to be good? A daycare is going to be packed full if they are good IMO. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know.
Thanks I guess.

About my ear... it sucks!!!! My face is numb and tingly and dizzyness occurs alot! Thinks are slowly but surely getting better. I discovered when I was pregnant that I am allergic to phenergan. Thanks for the info though. I am using the ear drops that Dr gave me, antibiotics, and a heating pad.
Thanks!

There is a lady that brings her daughter to school that I have become good friends with and that is how hers started too. PLEASE ask you dr. TODAY. The last time hers flaired up was a couple of years ago when she spilled hot oatmeal on herself. Seriously. I guess it happens more under stressful or tragic situations. Good luck.

This also has no certain age group to hit either, it can happen to anyone, my cousin was a healthy guy who worked at a very busy business in lexington, he had the same symptoms, thought it was a stroke, but turned out to be the bells palsy(SP) sorry if i spelled that wrong! But it can be very serious, or can go back to normal very soon, however, i wouldnt take any chances! I like my face just the way it is!

Mrs. Barbara's is wonderful. Both of my children stayed there. Never had any trouble, she always called me if there was a problem. Very clean and they are really taken care of there.

Thanks for all the information everyone! My face is so much better today, and my ear is feeling lots better. Still a tiny bit of numbness around my ear and my ear still has a sharp pain every now and again but it is so much better than it was. I got another antibiotic shot today and it was alot stronger than the first one, so maybe it will completly clear it up.
Again thanks for all the information on my ear/face and the daycare situation.
Anyone ever had any problem out of any others, just incase something happends with MrsB's (which I highly doubt, but just incase).
Thanks everyone

I MYSELF WOULDN'T WANT A DAY CARE.To Many kids just mean less attention being payed to yours,in my opinion.Have you tried to find someone kind, trusting ,loving & wanting to take care of a baby in their home?

Yes I have tried that but I want to get her used to playing with other kids. She will be in school soon and I want to get her ready for it. Thanks for the input though.

I liked them too, she is on the waiting list. They said they have a very long list so I don't expect her to get in soon haha. I have heard alot of good things about them as well. The other that I liked the most (Mrs.Barbera's) got her in to start Monday. I really think we are going to enjoy it there.
I just really dread the first day. I probably should have taken her Friday for a couple hours so that her first day of daycare and my first day on my new job wouldn't be all together and sad.
Thanks everyone!

I don't think I saw any suggestions for Grace Fellowship Church's Daycare in Carnaby Square Shopping Center. They seem to be very busy and although I do not personally have a child that goes to daycare there, I do have a couple of different friends and they take their children there and have been very happy with the care provided. Just an idea that I thought I'd throw out there to ya. I'm sure it will be difficult taking this step but it will get easier as time goes by! Is this your only child?
