that's why i can't understand why they are not giving people extentions... i was making over $45,000 a year and lost my job unexpectedly in dec and it blows my mind that they chose to give that tax credit in may instead of thinking long term to help all these people losing their jobs i do not think they should hold it against people who still have their job but they need to fix the problem with u/e due to our economy

it takes six weeks if the company fights it less if they don't.You have to keep doing what they tell you because if you keep up with it you will get all the checks you had to wait for at once.

If the company fights it you may loose it all. I once filed and rec'd. unemployment for about a month but the company filed an appeal in the appeal the judgement was reversed and I had to pay back all the money I rec'd. from unemployment, @$1,200. Took a while to do since I had paid by car payments ahead in case anything else happened. Got screwed....

if the decision is reversed you can appeal it again and try to get it back we need extentions for this year

I did appeal it and was called in for one on one with the company rep. I ask over the phone if I needed representation and they said no that it would be just me and a company rep. and a State Unemployment Rep. When I got there the company rep. was their company lawyer, like a snowball's chance in hell of being able to out talk an attorney.
