When does an average actor qualify in the right to control policy and influence with a political position, especially when she has ZERO experience?

The Republicans are scared to death of Ashley Judd.
They started trashing her and she hasn't even said if she will run.
I hope she does.

In 2010, she earned a master's degree in public administration from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and received the Dean's Scholar Award for her work in the Harvard Law class, "Gender Violence: Law and Social Justice." For her undergraduate studies, Ms. Judd graduated from the University of Kentucky with a major in French and minors in anthropology, art history, theater, and women's studies.

Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors of Population Services International, Defenders of Wildlife, and Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill. Ms. Judd has traveled around the world, visiting grassroots programs that focus on public health, poverty alleviation, human rights, and social justice.

I dont think for a second that Ashely Judd has any business trying to make any decisions concerning Americas future either.
I sure wouldnt vote for her but I surely wouldnt vote for mcconnell either. Given a choice between the two I would go with Judd but only because there really wouldnt be any other logical choice to vote for.

The last d@mn thing this state and Congress needs is Ashley Judd in Congress.I dont like McConnell but I prefer him to Judd.No d@mn Hollywood actors need to be representing the average citizen in this country. As a previous poster said wanting Judd in Congress proves you are nuts so you should qualify for a check.

I still need to see what a lot of her stands are, but at this time she has my vote. I still remember how Mitch McConnell has done absolutely nothing for Kentucky. Plus him admitting he and others were intentionally blocking recovery from the recession just to win the 2012 election. He deliberately caused a lot of people to suffer.

"For the next two years, we canít let you (Obama/Biden) succeed in anything. Thatís our ticket to coming back."

How President Obama was elected was by being preferred by the majority of America. Not once ..... but twice.

Tell me all the things Mitch McConnell has done for Kentucky? List them. Bet you cannot. That's because he hasn't done anything for us.

Please read my post again. I didnt say I wanted Judd to win. I hope she dont run myself but given a choice between her and mcconnell she has my vote hands down.
Anybody that would vote for mcconnells self serving ass again are the ones that needs to consider signing up for the crazy check.
I seriously hope somebody other than Ashley Judd, somebody that is qualified to lead us in the right direction steps up and challenges mcconnell.
Him and career politicians like him need to become extinct in America. Nobody should ever be allowed to hold the same public office for more than two terms. Thats how all the corruption in DC came about. To bad its still ongoing and nobody is doing anything to stop it.
Those greedy bastards set a fine example dont they.

Sixteen of Kentucky's Counties are on the list of the 100 poorest counties in America. That's sixteen percent of the list. And some of you still want to keep electing Mitch McConnell? Why?

We are a laughing stock around the world, our economy is in the tank and soon because of all the money printed and the debt will be worthless, and YOU voted Obama back in. So DON'T talk to me about Mitch.

Did you read the titles of those bills? They are BS bills. Totally. Even the only one which had any relation to Kentucky businesses or jobs was a weird one. It would have for some odd reason have put discharge and dredged or fill material from mines into streams and rivers in the hands of both the EPA and the Secretary of the Army. What does the Secretary of the Army have to do with Kentucky streams?

Or was wasting House and Senate time (which could have been going toward important things) pushing a bill to "congratulate the University of Kentucky menís basketball team for winning its eighth Division" a job creator?

Show me one single thing on that list which had anything to help Kentucky? Jobs? None. Education? None. Helping Kentucky businesses? None. Etc etc Etc. None. Heck, there was only one thing about mining and it was BS.

Like I said ..... what has he done for Kentucky ..... not a thing.
