How many Having Problems With Time/Warner?

I have the package bundle deal with tv, internet, phone.

5 times or more a day the internet goes out.

Does anyone know if Windstream is any better?

I used to have that problem all the time, turned out it was just time to buy a new router. No problems since then.

This happens here too. I did buy a new router? Hasn't helped any. Have had tech support out twice. They keep passing the buck.

I have had Windstream for a few years now, with built in router. I have no problems at all.

I am having the same problems with them. I call and complain and they tell me they cant even find my account in the system. I told them that they sure didnt have any problems finding me when it came time to pay the bill. Im SICKKKKKK of them. I am getting ready to switch to Windstream too, Im sure it cant be any worse than Time Warner, no wonder they are one of the 10 worst companies in the US.......

I dont have TW. I have Windstream, and am very happy with them.
Every one I know that has TW is having problems.

TW is run by a bunch of morons. They never take responsibility for any problems that customers have. And what is this thing with EAS weekly test running everyday at 1106am? These tests are supposed to be run once per week. Our shows are interrupted every day with the same test. Try telling them about it and they don't even understand what an EAS test is.

Satellite tv is no better.

As far as internet service, Windstream is fairly reliable.

Called TW to tell them my TV and internet was down and they said when enough people called in to report it then they would call it an outage and put the order in to fix it.
Since the switch from newwavecomm we've called in weekly. One time the service guy even said didn't have enough bandwidth here and they needed to fix it. Said I was paying for 10mb speed and was running at 2mb.
Can any windstream people say if your speed is fast or not and what is the price?

I have Windstream. It has awful internet service. I just had the service man here again this week. He informed me and my neighbor that there wasn't anything he could do to fix the problem. He said there wasn't enough signal to make our internet service work properly because the company had to many customers in this area and not enough signal to meet the damand. The order is in effect to run new line but they have THREE years to complete the job. So if you do not live in town STAY Away from this sorry service. They just seem to kept adding customers but can not meet the customers demands. It's all about the money at least that is my opinion.

TW has stupid people working for them. I have their service and it is no good at all, getting ready to switch to whatever I can find. You go in to pay your bill you are liable to get talked bad to, they are awful, they suck in every way imaginable!!

Last year, we had a tree limb fall and pull down our cable wire. They sent out a repairman. Instead of replacing the broken cable, he made two splices and put the old wire back together in 2 places....all the while he was on a cell phone arguing with his girlfriend.

And yes, go in their local office and those two old hags that work in there act like you are interrupting their sleep when they have to wait on you.

A router that you purchase in a store and the cable modem the company provides, is not the same thing.

Then again, could just be your computer is festered up with malware, spyware and such. That will also cause you to loose your internet connection if it gets to severe.

People wanna bitch about time Warner but they just took over, they didn't come in and change anything? Your net, tv and phone still come through the same lines as they did with newwave and the same they came from with Charter before that. At least now Time Warner intends to upgrade all the crappy nodes that Newwave never would.

well it's odd tech dude that none I didnt' have any of these problems until the switch. NONE. Best I can tell from these other posts, neither did the other people.

I did not have any problems either until Time Warner took over cable is out as we speak was told the other day if they only had one or two people out of service at a time they would get to it when they could and if they were alot of people out they would start on it that day. I pay my bill and if its one person or twenty we want to get what we pay for. I am think about dish network dont know if that would be any better but I am tired of Time Warner.
