I was in San Jose in 1975 when the teamsters wanted the hotels to strike for a .30 increase. The thing they didn't tell the members was that only .03 went to the employees and .27 went to the unions fund. Make sure you know what YOU are going to get and how much the union gets. You might find out the union gets more. Why go on strike so the union can get more?
