7 p.m. update: Alleged commercial marijuana gardens busted in Butte County

Hundreds of marijuana plants with an estimated street value of $34.2 million were found and eradicated today during a joint federal and county operation at 10 residences in Forest Ranch, Palermo and south Oroville, according to authorities.

First the amount of MJ taken from smugglers is less that 1 percent of the amount of coke and meth confiscated.....

MJ is far too cheap for the big boys to traffic in.....
