Im so thankfull the mother and children did not end up being victems of this predator. If he lives I pray the judge throws the book at him. As for "jon doe" from new york, anyone who tries to defend the criminal actions and intentions of a low life P.O.S like paul slater probably shares the same moral content and character that he does.

JD,
How do you know that Slater had no intention to harm anyone? Why would you say meaningless thing like "Yea it shud have hit u!!!!!?"
I just cannot comprehend your mind.
I was born and raised in a country where people have no right to defend themselves with a firearm. I am so glad I am here now knowing I can at least try to defend my family. I hope you stay safe in NY.

While I agree that loss of life is sad, I can't say this guy wouldn't have deserved it. If you break into my home, don't expect to make it out alive. This actually happened in my mother's neighborhood, and it would be a relief if he were deceased. I feel bad to say that, but with low lifes like this guy, how you can you ever be sure you and your family and friends are safe when this guy knows where you live? His blood is in my mother's yard. The whole neighborhood is shaken, and would probably all wouldn't be sad to hear of his death. Good for this mama, protecting herself and her children, and I pray that they recover from the shock of this, and can move on with their lives.

Not quite sure how someone can make such a bold statement to assume this guy was not going to hurt them. He has an extensive criminal record and chased the victims rather than running from them. I also love the fact this person from NY wants to use god in his argument but then says the bullet should have hit someone else???? I am thankful that victim had the tools and the courage to fight and save her kids. God does not want murder but i am sure god wants his children protected from sin which is ehay she did. Bless her and pray for her and her family that they recover emotionally from this.

Everyone who reads this please click on the link below. It's from a black newspaper that refers to the woman as a "Trigger-happy mom" because she shot one of their own. I emailed this newspaper and I told them I would have reloaded and put one in his head but I wouldn't have to do that because I own a semi-auto with more than six rounds and I would have used all of them on this bastard! What I'm asking from all of you is that you contact them also and blast them for calling her trigger happy because she is a white who shot a black who by the way didn't belong in her house in the first place.
Thank you.

I agree my friend, it's time the honest American starts protecting themselves and those around them because when seconds count the police are only minutes away. When some guy, uninvited, is walking around my house I don't have time to wait for some cop to wipe the powdered sugar from his mouth, adjust his hat, and then come to my rescue. By the time he arrives the situation WILL be under MY control!

Hey jerk, this is the price you pay for wanting to be the bad guy. You can choose to lead a normal, productive life and contribute to society or be a schmuck. This guy chose to be a schmuck. He went into this "profession" knowing there would be consequences and he met his so "F" him! If GOD loves me and sees I'm a good person I'm sure he doesn't want to see harm come to me by someone who is evil. If this woman saw this mans face he would not have left her or her children live because he would not have wanted them to identify him. You say he didn't want to harm anyone but that would have changed quickly if he was seen by the family, believe me!

Give this lady a ribbon and reward money, I'm sure he had warrants out.
Too bad taxpayers now have to pay for his hospital and incarceration. A pauper burial would've been better and cheaper.

When you play stupid games (like breaking into homes)
You often win even stupider prizes (like getting your face shot or killed)

Badtothebone,I agree 100%.as for NY,I was relating to Schumer and Bloomberg. The writer of that blog OMGghana probably would be one that says "He was such a good boy and a great student in college, and he has 4 little ones." How many times do ordinary people have to take the short end of the stick for these thugs? If more people did what this Mom did maybe, just maybe thugs would fear the results of misguided deeds. have a great day.
