I wish she had more bullets. She and her daughters should never have had to go through this experience, but thanks to the mom's smart actions, maybe no one else will have to suffer an attack from this scum.
Thank you for shooting the guy.

Today I heard yet another politican screaming that no one needs an assault rifle, no one needs 10 bullets! If she had only five more bullets-we wouldn't have to worry about this thug ever hurting anyone again! We wouldn't have to
spend our tax dollars to pay his way in prison, which includes so many priviledges he does not deserve! Including
meals, healthcare & breathing! Regardless of his conviction & sentence, we will spend far too much money on him.
This woman & her husband that helped her prepare & learn to handle a gun are heros of the highest caliber! Those twims are so very lucky to have them for parents. My thoughts and prayers will be with them as they navigate this horrible experience. They will never be the same.
I truly hope all the politicans fighting our rights as gun owners & planning to change our rights via executive order, never get the call from their loved ones that they are in the crawl space with their children or grandchildren because they will be begging them for help considering they won't have a gun standing between them and a killer!
Of course they seldom experience the same things as us commoners. Our "royals" or washington politicians are guarded as if they are priceless treasures, which they are not! We need to see the price of security that protects those thugs while we and our families fend for ourselves.
Why aren't we rioting?!?! Oh yeah, cause we have to work and pay the bills.

Two odd things. Apparently at some point he realized that the family was not away. "According to authorities, Slater used a crowbar to bust open three doors inside the home as he chased Melinda Herman and her two children." Also, the alleged burglar made it some distance away in his vehicle bfore crashing (after being struck a number of times by a fairly substantial handgun.)
She is fortunate he did not have an accomplice because it appears she was out of bullets.

Liberals may have sympathy for Mr Slater but he likely should have fled the scene once he realized that the home was occupied.
