I thought the man was supposed to control all the important stuff??

Paying bills, taking care of the money, etc.

Women can take care of womanly stuff...cleaning house, cooking, washing clothes, etc.

*lol*

I know of alot of this going on around these parts.
My neighbor is controled by her Husband.
He tells her where she can go and where she can't.
And the woman goes nowhere.
She stays at home all the time.

Then that is her problem. I don't feel sorry for any of these women. They have the power to say enough is enough. They have the power to chose how their life will go. Instead of depending on a man go get an education and be able to support yourself if you have to. I'm so sick of hearing these women whine. If you don't like a situation then change it!

Ok...Heres what my opinion is seriosly...My first husband beat me daily...I was determined I'd not let nobody hurt me like that again....I was married to him 1 week and he started beating me he was controlling abusive and just a down right cruel hearted person...I love my life more then ANY MAN that cant respect me...I know u cant just up and leave without possible getting killed...But u know what I found out 5 and a half months into the marriage...U can just as easily be kkilled staying and waiting for a safer time to leave...He strangled me till I was unconcious...When I got back on my feet I ran for my life...I left him for good...If u stay with someone like that when there is shelters and family or friends get the hell out dont live like that...Seriosly I'd rather be dead then to live my life with someone like that...I am remarried to a wonderful man who has never raised his hand to me and would about kill anyone who would hurt me...Life gets better and for those who think what will I do where will I go if I leave this man...Think Whats gonna happen if he flips out so bad he kills me...Wouldnt u rather have a future to look for instead of another tomorrow with them and thier rules..No thank you...Get out...If u stay all I can say is its your own fault and more at fault if u expose children to this lifestyle...Good luck getting out if u in this situation...But do GET OUT...Its your life not his

If he wants her to stay home all the time, and cook, maybe she should cook him something special, like brownies, loaded with "X-LAX". I bet he would be too busy to bother her much.

I was married to a POS for a while and it started off with him being controlling, like where I went, what I wore, who I talked to and even where I worked. He ended up on drugs really bad (still is), and he beat my A$$ about every day! But,we had a a good marriage at first, had a daughter, things were good...Until the drugs, the control issues, the verbal and physical abuse then it all went downhill. At first I couldn't leave because of our child, and fear. This man was MEAN! But it would have been wrong to raise my little girl around that kind of negativity. So one day I got tired of all the sh*t I was going through, I built up the courage and I left. But before I did I got that SOB back in many, many creative ways...Here are some ideas...
1. Bake ex-lax in their brownies or chocolate cake
2. Pee on their toothbrush
3. Swipe their toothbrush around the yucky inside rim of the toilet bowl.
4. Put an added ingredient in the filling for Deviled Eggs...(see #2)
5. If you "drop" their food on the floor, use it anyway. And no, it does not need to be rinsed off.
There are many other ways to get back at the man who beats you. Use your imagination and just tell them "Don't Bite The Hand That Feeds You"
And a man who is abusive to a woman is not a man at all. And One more thing girls...these things I have listed will not really hurt them but it will make you feel much better! LOL! And when you carry their dinner plate to them you'll have a reason to give them 'service with a smile'

I love how you all whine about it, yet if a nice guy does come calling all you do is bitch that it gets boring and go cheat with one of these abusers you whine about.

Good job, you prove your gender is fundamentally insane.

Actually, I'm married to a nice guy now and I love him very much. And FYI he gets angry and calls me a bitch, and I've been angry called him a few choice names as well, but this isn't something that happens commonly in my home.

I know there are good men out there. There are good men married to pure bitches that doesn't deserve the good guys that they have. I'm aware that it goes both ways. I could also tell some wild stories about some worthless women I know who was married to good, hard-working men and did them dirty as hell! I did not mean to offend the good guys. Captain Awesome, from your posts I'd be inclined to say that you are a good guy too with an awesome sense of humor...But I REALLY was married to a piece of work, looking back, I'm actually lucky I survived, and I'm not kidding.

I must say that I take my hat off to your 1st husband. Sounds like to me he was just doing his manly duty and keeping your fat sloppy ass in check and in shape. THe world needs more men like us. Evidently he needs to learn how to strangle you, because he didn't do it hard enough or long enough. I'm sure deep down inside you really miss him.
