Shame on you for talking about these ladies this way,if you child acts the way you talk about these ladies then I can see why thay get upset.
No kid is an angel, but children have to be taught, teachers are suppose to be an example to the children they teach, these teachers do set examples, just not very good ones. I try to teach our kids when they get done wrong try and suck it up and go on, but when a teacher looks at your child and tells it that it is ignorant, then who's the one to blame. If you haven't had kids go there when these teachers are there then you need to keep your mouth shut.

mine goes there as well and i haven't had any problems either. granted, she's just went there the last 2 years, but she loves it.
so far so good from my family. although i do have to say that there has been a difference from last year to this.
with Mr. Johnson i always felt like he had time to talk to me about my child and he seemed to care for the kids alot more than Ms. Perry. I have to say that although I haven't had any problems with her yet, I don't really like what I see from her. You can just tell by the way she carried herself and handles parents and the kids that she's only an educator for a paycheck, she doesn't really do it because she "loves" it, or the kids. and thats sad.
can't blame Mr. Johnson for taking a promotion and moving on up like weezie and george though ya know.
i would like to see Mr.J run for the BOE. he'd do a much better job than the zigmond monster.

I've had problems with some but not with others. It's hit and miss I guess. However, I do think it's really cheap of them to stop sending home lunch/breakfast calendars. When I asked about it they told me you have to come into the school and look at the menu posted on the wall. They will no longer send out menus because they are trying to save money on the paper. That's a bit extreme to me, I know it is posted in the Logan Banner at some point but not everyone takes the newspaper. I have a child with allergies so we pretty much pack everyday, but it would be nice to have the option of having a menu at home. I have also asked the secretary to copy it for me and she stated that she didn't have a copy herself and couldn't take the other one off the wall long enough to copy. I just work around the ignorance and pack a healthy lunch for my son!:)

Well thank you for that information a$$hole. I can tell from reading your various post that you are OBVIOUSLY one of the brown nosing parents that keep their big a$$ at the school all day trying to run things. It was probably your idea to save on the paper, right? All of schools EVEN THE MIDDLE SCHOOL give menus, and the last school administration at Logan Grade also thought enough of the parents and children to send home a menu. What, are we going to have to go online next to view report cards too?

Get yourself rested up and when the New Year starts, get off your a$$ and get a job rather than sitting at school all day "volunteering". Or at least clean Leah Perry's nasty "office"!!!!!

No I have a job I work 60 hours a week,im not a brown noising parent that hangs at the school.and sence you have read my outher posts I will say that if parents tought there kids at home before thay start to school instead of waiting on the teachers to do it thay wouldnt have any problems either. It all starts at home if a kid is always acting up and getting in trouble 99.9% of the time the parent acts the same way.its a good thing im not a teacher because I would bust there asses for acting like some of them do.

Well I will agree with you on that! I haven't had a major problem there with the teachers there teaching my kids. The only issue I had with that was when Mr. Norman got in my daughters face a few years ago because she had a tough time with math. He asked her if she was ignorant and when she said, "No, why are you screaming?" He took her to the office and then Ms. Walters wanted to start counseling her. I say kids are people too and each has their breaking point, up until that time she tolerated his yelling and calling her names. Once I heard about this issue I went to the school and the problem was over.

I do agree that most parents put it off on the teachers to do the teaching AND the parenting. I know people whose own children (grade school age) will curse them and hit them. That doesn't happen with mine because honestly they know what will happen. Kids need to learn some respect for parents and have a little fear of the consequences.
