I was told to take it somewhere else.I have bought 5or6 autos from thornhills since 1996,I won't go back!! Is this the kind of place you want to do business?
i tried to buy a truck some years ago and they would not budge on the price. i went to C&O and got the same truck 3,000 dollars less than what thornhill was asking. i will not go back to them.

Finally Logan is catching on that Wally Thornhill is the WORST car dealer in the state. The srevice Dept is a joke, plus how many people do you personally know that have had major problems within the first year of purchase...I have heard from PLENTY. He is running a little monopoly here becuse some are reluctant to buy out of town. A vehicle is too big of an investment these days to deal with the likes of Thronhills. PS - Anyone remember why in school we called him "Flair"? LOL...

Call GM about your situation. I have heard similar problems from others. It is not legal to refuse warranty service.
My friend called GM and they bent over backwards for him.

most of the dealer's in our area will not come down on their prices, they are accustomed to people buying local, meaning they will not beat or match prices with other deals.

I am glad and also sad for other to hear that I am not the only one who has got screwed by Thornhills.I have knowen Wally Thornhill for at least 25 year back when he had a junk yard.He was a nice guy then. I Guess he no differnt than anyone else from Logan who has any success and makes money off the people he don't know you or need you anymore. That dealership has a buy here but don't come back unless you want to buy another car attitude.I just can't understand why someone would let their service dept.run off business.

i'm not against any business making money, but you local dealerships will not deal with your buyers. it's take it or leave it. all we have to do to beat your prices is go a little bit farther to charleston. stephen's auto is the same way.

I bought my new Chevy at Dutch Miller in Huntington. Anybody that buys from Thornhill's deserves what they get.

I bought 2 H3 from them and they have the worst service dept, will not fix things under warranty, and have nothing but problems with that place. They do nothing they promise, I will never buy anything from them again! I am going to take both my H3's to a hummer dealer in Hurricane. I have these 2 for 6 months and one of them had stuff tear up after a month!! I was told both of them had 4 new tires on them and the set on one them were NOT! I had a blow out taking my son to school and and tow truck driver aid the tires were dry rotted I took it back down to them, they argued and argued with me and finally got wally( of course ) he only agreed to put 2 tires on! I had to purchase 2! I will never buy from them again!!!!They had no problem taking my money though.

I have heard stories from other people about their bad sales and service over the years but I never had a problem until this last vehical I bought there.I have even in the past defended Wally and sent some business there.NEVER AGAIN will I recomend Thornhill's dealerships to anyone ever again!! It's not the produts they sell that's the prolem its their cocky sales people and the shity service manager and department The people working in sales and service there couldn't cut it doing a real mans work so the opted for lazy mans work.
