ok.......I love Giovannis food....love it ....could live on it....but when i called to find out it takes 2 1/2 hours to deliver it and they cant even come all the way to my house and I have to walk out and wait for the dicks in 4 inches of snow I dont want to leave a tip....THEN when the ass drops my pies and forces me to pick them up while juggling two boxes and a 2 liter I decided to keep my 3 dollars in change and buy a iced coffee

well, giovannis does have awesome food. i just hate the fact that when i eat there, my money is going to that stuck up douchbag, named greg dotson. he treats his employees like shit and walks around like his shit doesn't stink. its a shame that such great food has his name behind it. such a waste. btw, the waitresses there do make minimum wage. thats probably why they all act the way they do and never want customers and don't want to answer the phone. they know they are getting their pay check. so why try and work harder? its takes them forever to answer the phone. it'd be quicker to run to wendys and back home than sit there and wait for one of those lazy asses to answer the phone.

the giovanni's in logan is disgraceful. almost everyone who works there is always drugged out. the delivery time is rediculous, and as stated previously, the mandatory tips. i wonder if they realize that forcing people to leave tips hurts them in the long run? i say that because i use to tip the delivery boy anywhere from 8-10 dollars, now since they've decided to force me to tip them, i don't give them anything extra, just the 3 dollar mandatory fee.

if you wanted separate checks, you should have said so. waitresses can't read your mind.
and the 15% gratuity is added for a reason. have you ever waited tables? i have. and logan is the worst place i've ever worked when it comes to cheap tippers.
so imagine for a minute that you're a server. a group of 8 ppl walks in with their snot-nosed brats and bitchy women. they sit in your section. they run your ass off more more bread, napkins, silverware (b/c the lovely children invariably drop theirs), refills, etc. when they finally leave, the place is wreck. drinks are spilled, food is spread onto the table, chairs, floor, even the walls. and they only leave you a dollar.
THAT'S why the 15% is added. 15% is MORE than fair. i usually tip 20% and sometimes more for great service. waitresses on average make $2.13. they survive on their tips. if you don't want to leave a tip, then maybe your cheap ass should go pick up your own food.
i've waited tables my entire working life, and i think the %15 gratuity is rediculous. of course, i've never NEEDED my customers to be forced into tipping me, as i do my job well and treat my customers with the respect they deserve. i know the girls at giovanni's can't say the same, as they're almost always knocked out on some kind of pill.

evrybody that works at giovannis is not a drug head.also if you worked as a waitress you would know if it is a table of 8 or more they add a 15% gratuity and as I satated before the drivers dont even get the $3.00 fee that you are charged for on a delivery.

the 3 bucks that is added to the bill to get it delivered, sad part about that is greg the owner keeps most of that money for himself he only pays the drivers so much a mile, to make the delivery, greg also does not pay overtime he pays his staff the min wage in cash to them also before he hires you he expects people to work 2 days free to see how you do
