How unfortunate that a film will be made of the "Sopranos".
Hollywood is full of hypocrites who are involved in all the causes wearing ribbons, etc. When it comes to ethnic
biogtry, especially against Italians it is alright with them.

Well personally i couldn't care less about Tony Soprano...now STRINGER BELL....helllloooooo and hallelujah -- i'd watch him in The Wire movie all night long if one were ever made...oh yea...that's a 'black' show isn't it...yea well we real broken up about all those black folk who got PAID WELL for doing The Wire...hmmm Just call me Snoop and meet me in the vacants! Do any of these words ring a bell? TV, CABLE, ENTERTAINMENT? but in the case of The Wire it is actually based on real people, a rea place and the real time is NOW! I haven't heard any Soprano actor crying while they're carting all that cash from the bank!-- You may call it unfortunate for a Soprano movie to be made; well.i think they call it GETTIN RICHER!

Yet you find it fair to combat your perception of "ethnic bigotry" with a sweeping, generalized condemnation of an entire industry?

I'd invoke an appropriate saying about pots calling kettles black but then I'd probably open myself up to accusations regarding my "chromatic bigotry".

Amen....... but it was very funny at the same time.
Only a fool would be proud of how it portrayed Italian Americans. There was a lot of truth in many of the episodes. Sprinkled with the usual B.S. that everyone likes to see in MOB shows. It was great food for the gavone mentality and wanna be gangsters. Some people never grow up.
