I just hope the city is happy voting this person back in with all his cronies. I llived in Lockport for 17 years and most through his administrations and I have to say the city has went backwards. I hope the people can live with another 4 years of his reign. If the people start complaining about how the city is run then they only have themselves to blame. You voted him in so live with it

It's not just him; Lockport and Niagara County have always been as corrupt & dirty as corrupt & dirty can get, & began going downhill since around 1970. Nothing has or ever will change for the better.

I totally agree. The city and county share the same bed. I use to be proud saying I was from Lockport, but now it's an embarrassment to say it. They say Lockport is moving forward, but they are nothing but going down on a downward spiral heading for rock bottom.

Lockport moving forward....now THATS funny. Seems I once heard the same about Detroit a few years back.

Lockport is turning into nothing but a big slum area. They use to have alot of beatiful neighborhoods and houses, but they are few and far between now. We now have empty houses, unkept yards, main street has alot of empty buildings. The mayor says there have been alot of improvements during his adminstrations. Yep so many improvements the people are leaving the city in large numbers. What does that tell everyone. Obviously not enough has been done to keep people here. Keep voting him in and it will never change.

Oh, it ain't all on Tucker; I remember back in the days of Tommy Rotundo too; he destroyed Lockport. It's too late; Lockport is dead; no way to revitalize now. It's just a big ghetto with a few nicer neighborhoods and they too are disintegrating.

You are right it started before Tucker. It actually started with urban renewal back in the late sixties. I just wish these politicians would really look at what's wrong with Lockport and try to fix the problems instead of trying to bring Lockport back to it's former glory which will never happen. So goes the same for places like Olcott, Niagara Falls, etc. It would be nice to see but there are things more important, like making sure that Lockport and other communities are safe for it's residents and making it more livable to bring back more people to the community.
