No one even said she was mentally ill or any of this crap that people are talking about now!!! so who else is to blame? AS FOR WHAT SHAUNA's mom was done and been through for years with this teanager and her boyfriends and her running away and rebellion and stubborn lack of respect etc....SHE IS A SAINT! and anyone who doesn't understand that is just stupid or hateful or has some other axe to grind....THE info is available just read the blogs and ask someone who knows her! I am sure you will get the picture!!!!
Everyone realizes NOW how sick this chick was or is....but really it was thought that Shauna Wanted to learn to be a mom,,,, it is still unbelievable!!! She wrote her mom saying many times leading up to that day "I want to take care of Trevor" I guess it was just misunderstood what she meant by "take care of".

I understand what you are saying but i disagree with part of it. There was a history of mental disorder prior to this happening that came to light as soon as she murdered her son, so obvious;ly the family was aware of mental disorder in this child, along with drugs, and problems with the law. And as far as the family having no prior notice that anything like this could happen, I disagree. I dont think that they thought that she would murder her son so i'm not saying that (as I am sure if the mother thought she was capable of this, she would have never let shawna near trevor)but there had to have been some indication of trouble, and violence or the grandmother would have never went for custody. Regardless of any of that. Shawna is a disgusting piece of white trash for what she did to that poor little boy, and deserves life in jail or death, not only 10 years. I hope that they straighted her f*cked up head out so that she realizes what she has done and suffers remembering every minute of it for the rest of her pathetic life.

You don't "learn" to be a mother. It's an instint. It comes naturally. Be it human or animal...most would never harm their child.

You may not be born to be a Mother, but parenting is learned. and your not born with an instinct to be a Good parent! What you do... is learned from your Mother's, mentors, and teachers or those who are in your life! Many become your models, and sometimes you don't have the best of models! And when drugs are involved you may have less a chance of becoming a Good mother! Obviously parenting is not taught in school and the Youth of today are doing less of a Good job at parenting since their parents were too busy working to survive, they have not ahd very good models to model after. So the kids of today have less of a chance at survival because of all these factors! If there was less mother's working maybe more kids would not be raising kids either. This gal (we all know) has mental problems and probably has not had the best of models either. And poor Trevor, he did not have a chance! Makes me wonder about our future! Because if more kids are killing babies, the human race will surely suffer!

Its always the Mothers that hold most of the responibility for raising kids, not fathers. Fathers are supposed to pay for child support but very seldom take responibilities for raising and caring for the children they help create!
