My service is just fine. My mail lady is always very freindly and cheerful, which is quite something seeing as I am near the end of her route, and see is still smiling, 9 or 90o.

Our mailman comes by right at three o'clock in the afternoon almost without fail; he's very dependable. No problems on our block.

Who cares if we have a problem or love our mail service? It's not like we can do a dang thing about it, the system is completly broken and looks like there is nothing but more hikes in postal rates coming our way.

It's not like we have an alternative.

Maybe cuz we at the outskirts of Lockport but our service is bad to worse with getting neighbors mail at least once every couple of weeks.

Every once in a while a week at a time service is OK.

Funny but mail delivery was a non issue years ago for us with an always pleasant and cheerful mail person.

I had a Netflix account once. In the morning I'd return the movie in a Lockport mailbox. The next morning I'd receive an e-mail confirmation that it was received in Bedford Park. Worked like clockwork. One day I forego the Lockport mail box and drop it in an Orland Park mailbox on my way to work. The next day no e-mail confirmation. The day after that no e-mail confirmation. I wait the mandatory week and report the disk lost. On the eighth day I get an e-mail that the disk arrived in Bedford Park. I have no complaints about our mail here in Lockport.

The Lockport Post Office has always been a joke,
they finally put the old cat lady hag out to pasture but only to replace her with someone equally as imcompetent
they had a do it yourself kiosk at one time so you could avoid the long lines but they were too lazy to empty the package bin so they got rid of the machine

They definitely are some of the slowest people on earth. Is it in their job description to move like turtles and treat people like crap? I have never seen people move slower.

Wrong on all four counts. We do not have to do a "dang" thing about it because it works fine. Rate hikes are always going to happen because the costs associated with delivery increase and we do have an alternative.

Obviously you are a postal worker. How does that slow motion work out for you? Is it a job requirement? Do they give you continuing ed credits for classes on how to be rude? Is this why you all have your own branded way for managing stress? I believe it has been termed "going postal".

Really, it works fine when postal workers move slower than your average turtle on downers? The system works fine when I get my neighbors' mail on a regular basis? Are you sure I have another daily mail option that does not include overnight type service? Are you sure they can't minimize postal increases by reducing benefits, freezing raises or cutting out Saturday service? Who the heck NEEDS their mail 6 days a week? Cut it down to 5 and if that doesn't work make it every other day.

Did they send your Jenny Craig cheesecake to the wrong house or was it the Lane Bryant catalog? Lets be honest nothing really important ever shows up in your mail anyways chubs.

Still wrong. Silly questions. Waste of my time.
