It is time for us all to take a quick break, and stop the fighting for one thread, and look for things we can all agree on.

A lot of things have been said here, witch should be taken back, about our local officials, and their efforts. These comments, which are slanderous, rude, demeaning, and plain out-of-line, can no longer be overlooked. Thus, I take the opportunity to apologize on behalf of the following frequent posters here on this site:

1. Trout
2. Tic
3. Hardliner
4. Lockport Opinion
5. Bill from Lockport
6. Homerian
7. Just Say No
8. Homer Glen Mom
9. Darren Desking (We really miss you, NOT!)

These posters have done nothing but demean, insult, and harm the integrity of our officials who work hard, at low pay levels, to enhance our community.

They have relentlessly attacked District 205 Superintendent Garry Raymond, and attacked him over anything. After providing a fair, rational assessment of the costs of the high school these posters began mocking him, and claiming a new high school could be purchased at about the cost of 1 pizza. They mocked his analysis and cost assessment. They ignore the truth, that his profound, energetic, and sincere approach to tackling the districts problems goes unmatched, and cannot argue that we have the greatest superintendent in this state, right here in Lockport, IL.

After mocking Raymond, they were quick to move onto Des Plaines Valley Library Director, Scott Pointon. A quick review of research on Scott Pointon, and it becomes clear that he is a man of principal, morals, and ethics, and like Raymond, serves the community at a low cost. In fact, Desking sunk so low, he actually cooked up a conspiracy called,“Pointon-gate.” We all knew this was just a game used by Desking and the Will County Republicans to trick innocent voters into the same scandal they cooked up against Clinton, White-Water, back in the 1990’s. The truth was that Pointon-gate was just a lie, and Desking was outed on the entire conversation as a dramatic liar, who had nothing to back up his claims, and started grasping at straws to make it look like Scott Pointon was sneaking in a back door tax levy, and as usual, Desking made a complete fool of himself. Usually Desking only prefers to do this at meetings, or the Community Development Center.

Keep in mind, many of the folks, including Just Say No, Trout, and Lockport Opinion, backed the idea of a library in Crest Hill, and claimed they would entertain voting YES for a new library in Crest Hill, along with renovation work to the existing libraries in Romeoville and Lockport. Well, time passed, and when it came down to vote YES, they all came here, backstabbed the Director, after he designed a referendum at their request, and turned on him and voted NO. this example demonstrates that Trout, Just Say No, and Lockport Opinion are not people of their word, and should not be taken seriously.

Another person, relentlessly bashed on this site, is Tim Murphy. After his dedication, loyalty, and pride in our community, these people are again here to backstab, lie, and make fraudulent claims to his server. Murphy was the opposite of what everyone claimed. Murphy believed in his town, his wife, and his family, always putting them first, no matter what circumstances were at stake. Thanks to his efforts, we now have a Wal-Mart, a CVS, and many other great additions to our community, including KFC. Thanks Tim, your service was appreciated to our town, and I speak on behalf of each any every poster.

Tom Murphy, the father of Tim, is another great man, who strived to improve the community, and make life a much better place for the rest of us, one step at a time. Thanks to his improvements, we now have a no fly-zone established over Milne and Kelvin Grove, several necessary stop signs ensuring childrens’ safety in fornt of Milne Grove, Shoveled sidewalks from the Intersection of 9th and 7th Streets all the way down to Milne Grove. He also got the bank next to the Fire Department to dim its lights, and implemented property protection fences in front of Milne Grove. Tom’s efforts are unquestionable, and genius. Thank you Tom.

Jim Hall, is another great member of the community his efforts to improve education and athletics have been grossly overlooked, and should not be overlooked.

Ron Kulwinski, another honest and great educator and coach.

Join me, in thanking these great Lockport Locals!

Well, enough said Leroy. No longer do I have to speculate who you are... Tom Murphy.

You moron... after listing all of your accompolishments at Milne Grove, for yourself, by the way, you didn't think the first person to stumble across this thread wasn't going to figure it out?

That leads me to ask, why did you use a black guy's name to hide your identity, Tommy? You have made a fool of yourself, yet again.

For the 100th time, the WalMart and CVS were already in place when Tim Murphy became Mayor.

So he can take credit for a KFC. Great work Tim!

Is this the same Tim Murphy who got hit by a car in downtown Lockport late one evening/early one morning? I ask because I truly am not sure. I am fairly new to the area.

Yes that would be nice, or stringing him up by his feet, and sticking his head in a bucket of lake water, and then tasering the crap out of him would work well also. His arrogance is boarderline disgusting, and I would have no problem taking him out.

It looks like our buddy ollie has moved from Chicago, to La Grange Park, and now lives in Woodstock.

Virgo

The intuitive Moon encourages deeper understanding in your personal relationships. Don't be afraid to discuss personal subjects... it is by revealing ourselves that we truly draw near to each other. Don't try to analyze or fix anything right now. Simply share information and just be. There will be plenty of time for analysis later. Mars entering Libra urges action on debts, assets, and income. You'll be keen in weeks ahead to boost the coffers; working overtime, an extra job, or whatever is needed to earn money.
