Cooper is either a super chicken or super stupid, but obviously someone got to him, and I hope those in his district remember this at election time. William Fries is absolutely correct, that his original bill was helping the taxpayer, and now he is on the side of the non-taxpayer.

According to DHS Michael Certoff, the E-Verify Program has an accuracy rate of 95.5 or higher.....so those "advocacy foes" were wrong.....(but they knew that when they said it)and the weak politicans fell for it hook line and sinker!!!!

"During his news conference, Cooper said the federal government has acknowledged that E-Verify data contains nearly 18 million discrepancies and 70 percent of those involve people who are legitimate citizens."

I have contacted the D.H.S. and U.S.C.I.S.,(4 X's) and neither of these agencies could answer the question of where Legislature Jon Cooper received his information from.

I called Legislature Jon Cooper's office and they will e-mail the source of their information.

Luis Valenzuela is a person that is feeding off the misfortunes of the Illegal Aliens in this nation. No Illegal Aliens, no job for Mr. Valenzuela.

I asked a panel of "immigration experts" at an Adelphi forum for "Immigration on Long Island" which consisted of the guest speaker Dr. Kenneth Prewitt, Carnegie Professor of Public Affairs, School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University; Jean Lau Chin
Dean, Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies, Adelphi University; Marianela Jordan
Executive Director, Nassau County CASA; Mariano Torras Associate Professor, School of Business, Adelphi University; Reginald Tuggle Associate Vice President, Nassau Community College; and Luis Valenzuela Executive Director, Long Island Immigrant Alliance (LIIA)

I asked them to reply to one simple question, "How would this panel either solve or partly solve the problem of Illegal Immigration?"

Not one answered the question, not one. This is supposedly academia’s brightest; this is academia’s way of opening discussion when Reginald Tuggle answered to me, "People that think like you cannot have an open discussion about Immigration" and this guy is a pastor; this is the public's best when Marianela Jordan stated that she personally fills out Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) forms for people that are "undocumented" just like her when she first came to the U.S.A. from the Dominican Republic.
