Is it fair that honest taxpaying citizens don't get the same respect and benefits that undocumented workers and their employers get - it's about time that something is done about it!!!!

The reason Mexico is such an awful impoverished country is because of the Mexicans. The people make the nation.
So instead of improving things south of the border, they'll come here and take from us what they can't build for themselves. And when they're done we'll have a third world USA thanks to our brilliant leaders and their feckless immigration policies.
When will the U.S. voter/taxpayer wake up?

How, pale faces, I see you are ranting again, shame on you, if you have any. You still speak with forked-tongues, but still I ask the great spirit in the sky for his blessing upon you. By the responses here posted you show much ignorance, but then again, ignorance today prevails amomg the lot of you. Suffolk was once the land of many of the brother tribes of the east. The first ones to succumb to your early diseases and greed. I still visit my brothers on the pow-wows of the east end. When will you learn the way of brotherhood, and leave the brothers of the southern tribes live and work in peace. They have broken no laws, but the one your ancestors broke many moons ago. They were not invited to come. But they are here and deserve to be respected and welcome. Pale faces the great spirit in the sky sees everything like and eagle and hears everything like a bat, he knows what you do and say, he will torment those pale faces that do not treat his children well. Beware pale faces, your forked tongues will do you in. It will not be my doing, I am a spiritual messenger from the great spirit in the sky, I have powers to cast upon you dark spells, but I need not do that. The great spirit in the sky will bring upon you what you deserve. Leave the brothers of the southern tribes alone, they mean no harm, they will help when you are in time of need.
Gray wolf is old and has seen and hear enough of your rantings. Sleep well tonight, and wait for the next full moon.
Suffolk American Indians have great plan.
Sell taxfree cigerettes, and demand they be given the opportunity to build and run gambling casinos. What a great vision for the future!! I can't understand why it was so easy for pale face to get the best of you.
You sure have it over all those illegals. Keep those inspirational ideas coming.

<quoted text>Did they take your job? Do you mow lawns or wash dishes?
I mow my own lawn and wash my own dishes. I want ALL the law breaking illegals to be blocked from working ... is they can't work they will leave. If they leave I will not have to pay for all the socisl services they are costing us taxpayers. I will not have to put up with 15 peopla in one house.

BLOCK THEM FROM WORKING AND THEY WILL GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND BE SOMEONE ELSE'S TAX LIABILITY !!

This is only the start, the illegals are awakening a sleeping giant in this country. The leason learned in other states, is that it has to start at the local level and build before the feds will do anything !!

I can't wait for everyone screaming for this bill to be passed to realize that this law will never be enforced, and doesn't even mention how it would be enforced. Talk about a waste of time and energy. Nothing will change if this passes. And personally, I'll save my vitriol for the Americans who are too lazy to work and seek out welfare than illegal immigrants who bust their as$ for a better life. Who's the drain on society, welfare recipients milking the system or the guy standing on the street corner hoping to god he can work that day?
OK, SO PAY EXTRA TAXES FOR THESE PEOPLE SO THE REST OF US CAN SAVE. IM SICK, UTTERLY SICK OF PAYING FOR THESE MUTS,,,FREE ER VISITS, NO CAR INSURANCE, OUT OF STATE PLATES, NO PAID TAXES!!

it all started with people we all know that have some sort of contracting job, that wanted to be both greedy and cheap by hiring cheap labor. then it went to homeowners, who went around getting illegals(cheap labor) to do work around thier home (landscaping, brick, tile, roofin g etc) now that they want more money and the economy is shot, its a problem? you can all that yourselves for the mixed messages youve sent through the years. you are all part of the problem. has anyone of you turned in a family member for hiring an illegal? everyone looks to get over, now live with the result of your greed. you get what you deserve. I dont support illegals, but working is better then selling drugs or other crimes. george washington came here without a visa as well

The U S Postal Service is not part of the US government and receives NO subsidies. It is a for profit company and it's profits are derived by the products that they sell.

These comments illustrate the more pressing concern: so many Americans are unbelievably stupid and shamefully prejudiced. Illegal immigrants can't be kept out of our country by a fence - you can't keep a woodchuck out of your garden by building a fence. Nor are illegals taking away our jobs, unless we're washing dishes or delivering groceries. And George Washington? Last I heard he was a major law breaker. At the time it was called treason. To read these nutty comments, you'd think the writers' people all came over on the Mayflower.

They break the law, but you say that's OK ... where do you draw the line ... what laws are ok to break according to you .. as for George, are you suggesting that an immigrant fueled revolution would be OK also ??

I don't know about where you live, but the jobs you speak of our kids would take. I'm all for people making a living, but when you are here illegally, not paying taxes and taking jobs that our own citizens could have, you need to go. By the way, I am not an illegal and I perform one of those jobs you speak of... Also, the foreclosure rate here is the highest in NY State...don't you think that the legal residents here have a right to those jobs to help save their homes?

Can I pay taxes for and still use an illegal for my digging? These guys are the best out there. I used to rent a ditch witch for around $150. 00, then have to backfill myself and deliver the machine back to the store. These guys hand dig clean, backfill neatly and even help with other tasks. I will continue to use them regardless of what Big Brother has to say.
